The bird in the cage. We thing that the part of the guests dont like this. Because this we gave low grade about the acomodations

initially quite unhappy with a room without a window - expected more for the money we were paying for the room. but impressed with the speed we were given a better one!

The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The hotel was immaculate, clean, comfortable and the location could not have been better. A superb breakfast and the flexibility of the timing of it.

Check in took a long time!

We stayed in Room 10, the junior suite at the top; plenty of space, two terraces, sitting room, great bedroom and bathroom. Wonderful views of the mesquite and bell tower, only a couple of hundred metres away. The hotel was clean and comfortable; staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast ample with lots to choose from. Very relaxed atmosphere and close to all the sites of the city. Highly recommended!

The staff in the hotel were very helpful and extremely friendly. Ideal hotel for visiting the tourist sites - all is in walking distance.The hotel is made up of a number of traditional houses set around internal courtyards.

If you arrive by car the hotel is difficult to find even with GPS. In the end we parked the car outside the city walls and hotel staff collected the car for us and parked it in their secure parking.

A lovely small hotel, nothing was too much trouble.

Fantastic staff! Great location. Faboluos room, we even got upgraded from a standrad room to a suite. We were treated as kings from the moment we arrived, white wine as a welcome drink, and the bell boy carried both our suitcases from the garage approx 10 min walk away from the hotel. Great breakfast buffet.

A very small family run boutique hotel right in the centre of Cordobes 1 minute from the Mesquita. Luxuriou s rooms and and every comfort tended to. Fabulous

A fantastic experience ! From the moment we arrived at the hotel the whole team could not do enough. With ony 10 rooms this is like being in your own luxurious hotel. The location of the hotel so near to the Mezquita and views from the balconies cannot be beaten. We will be returning to the "Balcon" in the future. The hotel has only 10 rooms therefore it feels like home, Excellent location and freindly staff.

location is very difficult to find if you car are driving, do not even attempt to find the hotel, just part in the closest public parking and walk to the hotel.

Excellent location. Impressive views of the Mesquita from the roof terrace. Rooms are comfortable and cosy. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Staff was very friendly. The small scale of the hotel has definitely a positve impact on the way guests are taken care of.

Do not waste your time searching for the car parking of the hotel. Instead park your car at the underground parking of the Alcazar, a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

The location in Cordoba was amazing. You can see the walls of the Alcazar from the balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was delivered to the room. I am allergic to gluten and dairy and they provided me with gluten-free bread and pastries and soymilk for breakfast.

The bed was a little too firm.

it is a ten-room hotel with staff that treats you like you are a guest at a friend's home. the design of public areas and bedrooms is comfortable and stylish. the restoration and use of this old patio house is fantastic--it retains old qualities of a former convent but has contemporary features like nice bathrooms, updated rooms, layout maximizes the property---our room looked out to a courtyard and we could hear the fountain. rain or shine (and it rained 3 out of the four days we were there) the place was a haven.

This is a beautifully designed and managed hotel right in the heart of the old town - the location is pretty much unbeatable, when you get tired of the heat and the crowds, it takes just minutes to get back to the cool, serene atmosphere of the patio. The building has been renovated with huge attention to detail, and is a great mix of the traditional and modern. It's fairly small - one of the few places where on check-in we were given a tour of the hotel, complete with explanations of the building's history, which was a really nice touch. The attention to detail and quality is evident everywhere - the breakfast is great, fresh produce, cooked dishes made to order. I also recommend the evening meals - it's a small menu, and again really great food in a beautiful atmosphere. After-dinner drinks on the rooftop terrace with a perfect view of the Mezquite: just unbeatable! The staff are also exceptional, very friendly and attentive, really made us feel not just welcome, but right at home. In short, we greatly enjoyed our time here, and would definitely stay here again (actually, I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else).

Arriving by car can be a little tricky - definitely e-mail in advance for directions. We were slightly thrown off by roadworks, but managed in the end - great relief though that they then park the car for you (no parking at the hotel itself), and bring it back when you're ready to leave.

Absolutely everything was superb. The best service, the best view, the most lovely and tranquil design.

We stayed at the Balcon de Cordoba for three days in July. All the staff were very helpful and professional . The hotel is very clean and comfortable with a nice terrace overlooking the city and a central courtyard which makes the hotel very welcoming.

This newly-renovated hotel was perfect in every respect: location, room, views, staff, breakfast.

Excellent location, clean, renovated, nice shower, room size ok

We like firm bed but we found the bed extremely hard and couldn't sleep. Many tv channels but all in Spanish (perhaps except Disney Channel), Other hotels we stayed at, have at least one News channel in English The breakfast area is lovely but there was no dedicated chef, reception staff did the cooking and the quality is variable. The girl who did the cooking for us was nice but too slow and by the time I got my breakfast my partner has finished hers The hotel compound is locked all the time, hotel guests have to press the bell to go inside, which made us feel claustrophobic Shower cap provided was too small to be effective It is more like a bed and breakfast place than a hotel

After arriving (which I highly recommend printing off details for as the hotel is down some very narrow alleys) we were given the opportunity to upgrade to one of the balcony rooms. I'm glad we did as it made our holiday lying out under the stars with the moon rising behind the old mosque. The perfect way to start a romantic weekend break.
