Superb location if you want to be in the centre of barcelona, excellent and helpful staff, lovely garden with small pool. albeit its a 3 star hotel, its better than many 4 stars...

The bathroom was great. There was a bathtub and room to move around. The single room that I stayed in had a double bed and it was very clean and comfortable. The location is not a far walk from any place.

Central Location with easy access to major shopping district - Passeig de Gracia and Catalunya. Just a few blocks away from Casa Mila and Casa Batllo. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Clean and neat room with friendly staff.

- Noise. Even if they advertise soundproof rooms, this is far from reality. - they advertise also a pool but is only a 4-5 square metres hole. - dark room all day. They have rooms with window orientated to a small (around 10 sq metres) hole, 4-5 floors high and even at 11 in the day you have the impression that is still night outside

Staff – both the reception staff and the housekeeping staff were friendly and competent. Cleanliness was very good – in both public areas and the rooms. Location is ideal for getting to know Barcelona.

Wi-fi signal on the upper floors was poor and unreliable (we stayed on the 5th floor). Important legal things were happening during my stay, and it was important to be able to check my emails. Unfortunately, the internet connection was lacking for an entire day even on the computer in reception, so I could not check my emails in the hotel. Internet connection (including free wi-fi) was one of my important selection criteria, so this was a disappointment.

Fabulous location. Glorious walk each morning for coffee and there we were nearly at Passio Gracia.Easy walking or access to Metro. loved it

Wall downstairs in the garden area and a wee bit thin!!

Lovely public spaces--amazing African art collection. Very friendly staff. Excellent location. There's even a pool, a hot tub, and a private interior garden with mature trees hidden at the back of the hotel. For a splurge, stay in the apartments!

The hotel rooms vary in size and furnishings. Some look a little scuffed around the edges.

We upgraded to an executive room yet the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work, the toilet was 'loose' and the room was at 26C as the air conditioning had been closed down so we had to sleep with the window fully open - in November! After mentioning these items the toilet was screwed down but the other problems remained.

Close enough to centre ,but quiet

The personnel is very hospitable and friendly. The hotel is really attractive. It is also very cosy. It is also situated in the centre of the city, which is very convenient. There is a bank just near the hotel, where you can obtain money from your credit card. There are also caffes and product shops just nearby.

The hot tub was cold, the sauna was not working and smelt. No coffee/tea in rooms. Room was basic and small. No conditioner. Room was too hot.

Well located, pool, jacuzzi, and workers very nice.

Perhaps, there are two point, which didn't like me too much, frist the room is a little bit small and second one we were close to the jacuzzi and it smelled a bit, however not into the room.

The staff was realy good and very friendly, we had a problem with our room, because there was a construction going on in the building next to the hotel, and everymorning the construction woke us up at 8am! After complaining to the reception they tried to find us different rooms ( even thou the hotel was packed) but we didnt like any of the options because we were staying at a family apartment, and they only had available normal rooms... Anyway, they tried to make us happy, and they gave us free breakfast for the family during our whole stayed... That was really nice... Plus the location is really good! We really enjoyed staying there

Clean, friendly staff and great location

Great location for those who would like to explore the city. Rooms are clean. Hotel management is flexible about the payment so that you can pay either at the check in or check out.

Hotel reserves a room without windows to the outside. Booking.com users should be aware and ask for a room change if necessary.
