Barceló Fuerteventura Thalasso Spa  

We travelled with 4 adults, 4 children in June 2011 for 7 nights, had all-inclusive option, good choice of food on offer and could have bottles of wine for your lunch and evening meal on your table, staff helpful in laying larger tables for more guests, but they do clear up very quickly, so if your wanting another course hold onto your knife and fork, free flowing Cava all day! Hotel and surrounding area, beach and resort all very clean, very quiet if thats what your looking for.Children were 5, 6, 8 & 8 yrs. They very much enjoyed the hotel run kids clubs, and ice cream. Pools were lovely, and new sunbeds were being put in just when we were leaving. Nice park in hotel, and also nice park just outside. In the bar they do take preference to serve non inclusive people first which is annoying, but you can get waiter serve to your table for the evening entertainment. Which was very good. Over a two week period, they had different shows every night. Hotel right on beach need your door key to access a locked gate, so was very safe and secure. Would definitely go back. Would definitely recommend.

Huge hotel run very well by drilled, friendly and service minded staff. Excellent restaurant with large selection of food and drink. Plenty of opportunities to do sports, or just to relax. Good spa and a resonable sized gym facility. Nice touch with the Cat Cafés for homeless cats.

Charging a deposit for the safe and a daily fee for using the safe. Charging for WiFi, which also was very slow most of the time.

The cleanliness of the room, the warmth of the rooms, the balcony and the quality of the food.

Half board should come with complimentary water!

We stayed at Barcelo Fuerteventura for a week in November and had a wonderful time. The entertainment in the hotel was first-class. The food in the restaurant was second to none. We look forward to returning again some time soon.

Great hotel and wonderful staying. People is really nice, rooms big and with terrace. There are 2 big swimminpools, spa facilities and several sport possibilities. Evening shows are "BROADWAY-class": go see the lion king, animators make excellent work. We were halfboard and this was ideal as we could taste the real local food: 200m far a must is la frasquita restaurant for fresh food or el toro manolo for tapas, they are great and aroud 15-20€/person. The hotel has 3 blocks, I read on this website to ask for block 2 or 3 high floor while booking, so I did and they put us in the room in block 3, with great view on swimmingpool/seeside. Block 1 is not good cause it might face the kitchen or worst the irish pub. The 3 beautiful beaches of the island are 45min driving away, south and north, so you'll need a car for those. But you are in the middle distance to visite the whole island! There is anyway a beach outside the hotel. Good for fun closeby you can swim with seelion and do watersky, kayak, fishing or waterever. Fuerte is great for Windsurf but avoid the windsurf fun center close to the hotel, the german lady there was really not nice to us.

Food is gereally good and with a big variety and will impress you the first day. Unluckily it doesn't change much and is a little repetitive even if we stayed only 1 week, but that's not a big downside.

Difficile à dire... Nous avons été agréablement surpris par le fait que certaines critiques négatives lues avant de partir ne correspondent pas à la réalité. Les repas sont très bons et variés, les chambres propres, le personnel sympa,... L'hôtel en général a fait une très bonne impression.

En cherchant, il y avait une odeur désagréable au bar et les animations du soir ne sont pas très intéressantes. Ceci dit, il y a des bars avec animations à deux pas de l'hôtel et il y en a pour tous les goûts. Une autre critique récurrente dans les avis des voyageurs concerne l'insonorisation des chambres qui, il est vrai, laisse à désirer. Personnellement ceci ne nous a pas dérangé outre mesure vu que notre chambre n'était pas centrale.

Nel complesso molto bello, posiizione ottima perchè vicino aereoporto e posizionato fronte mare.......buffet molto assortito!!!!!

Bisognerebbe dire che la spa è a pagamento euro 20 a persona al giorno, la piscina riscaldata esterna non è così calda e la piccolissima spa interna con vasca idro e bagno turco non funzionante, palestra solo dentro spa a pagamento!!!!!!! Non cambiano I teli bagno tutti I giorni!!!!!

Het is een heel proper hotel met uitgebreid eten en ook heel veel dranken waren inbegrepen in de all-in.Er is zeker genoeg te doen en de theatershows zijn zeker de moeite.

de welness vonden we tegen vallen het was dan toch niet in de prijs inbegrepen.We hebben dan 20 euro p.p. betaald maar het was niet de moeite.Het hout in de sauna was rot.

Prima locatie en goed ontbijt

Receptie personeel is gehaast en vaak niet vriendelijk. Kamers zijn enorm gehorig!

Chambres très propres, piscine chauffée, calme, proximité plage... Par contre le buffet n'est vraiment pas bon, tout est tiède...

Buffet mauvais, croissants durs comme de la pierre...
