Located in the center of the medieval town of Aínsa, surrounded by the Huescan Pyrenees mountain range, the hotel lies next to the River Ara, an ideal starting for numerous point activities.
Score from 331 reviews Very good
In the Aragonese village of Labuerda, this charming hotel has a spacious lounge with open fireplace. Enjoy the picturesque rural views from the private balcony of your bedroom.
Score from 412 reviews Wonderful
Set in the countryside and offering fantastic mountain views, this stylish hotel combines original design and modern décor. It is located 20 minutes’ drive from Ainsa.
Score from 52 reviews Exceptional
Situated in the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, this restored 17th-century abbey has a terrace with wonderful mountain views. The charming historic town of Aínsa is 8 km away.
Score from 86 reviews Wonderful
setting, reception, atmosphere
dinner, difficult and poor airconditioning
Brill location Nice outdoor area Fantastic building
Food was average Needed lights on 24/7 in our room Pool was very cold and min of 1.4m deep
the restaurant was very cold (air conditioning) meals were very expensive for the minute portions
Great location and original building. Interesting artefacts too, though some of it rather incongruous.
If you like the kind of hotel where the guests wander around in white towelling bathrobes all day, you'll love this place but it was rather too pretentious for us, and most of the facilities attract a charge.
Beds. Environment. staff very helpful.
Shower remained Luke waren even after an attempt to fix it. Thermostatic valve needed recalibration. Man did know how to. Spa is outrageously expensive. Wifi is not free at €3 per hour. The place is expensive anyway and this seems too focused on money making and too little on service. Food is cheaper and excellent at Ainsa.
Location ok for visiting the area and national parks. Rooms clean. The hotel food nice.
Marketing photos oversell property and location. Bad smell of drains/sewage as you approach reception. Maintenance needed inside and out. Staff on reception not welcoming or friendly long waits for drinks. Bar outdoor seating overlooks carpark - not using views. No orientation of hotel offered. Lots of staff in restaurant not enough elsewhere they need hospitality training. Use of indoor pool not included classed as a spa and cost 23 euros per hour per person !!!!!!
We were captivated by every aspect of the hotel. The accomodations in a villa were excellent, the staff attentive, the pool, spa, cafeteria, and public rooms all the highest quality. Maybe a few more books would fit in the library, but what hotel even has a library? We will go back in a heartbeat...
The art works, spacious and comfortable rooms
Food in the restaurant was disappointing and the service way too fast
The Spa is simply the nicest I've ever been to. Several big jacuzzis each with different types of jets or loungers to relax on; multiple showers, each with varying degrees of spray and hot/cold water; hot beds to chill out on, 2 steam rooms (turk and roman styles), so many options. We spent 2 hours the first day and 1 hour on the morning of our departure. All excellent relaxation but also very energising. Highly recommend it!
The superior rooms were quite pricey, even for a 4 star hotel. They were quite plush, with huge bed as well as comfortable and well equipped. And it was the middle of July after all...
staff very kindly instalations genious
access road, too curves
Beautiful, modern hotel . Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Lovely decor. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. About half an hour drive from Ordessa National Park.
The hotel is wonderfully appointed and decorated with welcoming facilities.
Breakfast opens at 8 o'clock and there are no coffee facilities in the room.
Beautiful surroundings and hotel.. Very clean, friendly staff and was completely impressed.
The bed linen smelt
Excellent large cabin with all facilities in a quiet country location.
Location, staff friendliness, rooms and facilities in general.
The evening fixed price meals (24 euro) were very good quality but very small for people that had been out all day and not eating until 8.30pm. The hotel is some distance from the town so a meal there is a car drive -alcohol problem - and the nearest bar/restaurant (300m) did a pretty poor meal in poor quality surroundings
Beautiful setting, helpful staff, we stayed in well equipped lodges out side the monesterie, perfect for a group of giggly ladies!
The comfort and calm in historic surroundings. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff
The limited and expensive access to the health and therapy facilities. The African tokens and decoration may contravene the beneficial therapeutic theme of the hotel
The location, the room, the main building..
The underground breakfast room and its elevator music. The high price of the spa/pool and the necessity to book to access the pool, onky after 12 when with kids.
The breakfast buffet was excelent. The best ive ever had. Bed was huge and very comfortable. The spa was great. We each got a message and also an hour in the spa pools. Very clean and worth the money.
There were a few things that didn't stand up to a 5 star hotels standards here. 1- The T.V. was horrible, old, should have been bigger in size. Also the bottons on the remote were broken. 2- The little fan/air vents in the bathroom, that are in the ceiling were full of dust/dirt, and the bath tub filled half way up while you were taking a shower.
Beautifully appointed room. Superb breakfast. Fantastic old building in interesting area.
The interior was disappointing compared to the outside . It was full of furniture from the Far East, and completely out of character for the building. The Spa staff were disinterested and unfriendly.
Very nice hotel, clean, situated in a very beautiful place, with an amazing spa but the only thing is to book from before your place in spa becouse not many places.
Being charged for unreliable internet Cost of going for a swim
Great hotel in the middle of the Spanish Pyrennes. the surroundings are beautiful. beautiful large rooms, well equipped, very clean, well designed. great romantic atmosphere. vast artistically designed public areas. staff is nice and kind. good restaurant.
you need to carry your luggage up one staircase, which is unconvemient. then there is an elevator. SPA treatments should be booked in advance, otherwise, you have no chance to get them.
A very classy, comfortable character hotel on the edge of Ordessa National Park
