The noise, thin walls, you can hear everything. Cleanliness not so good.
Location was great, can easily get to the Ramblas and La Boqueria market however its also ideally suited for exploring the Gothic district and El Born which we liked much better. Hotel is very clean and well maintained.
Area outside the hotel can be a bit dodgy sometimes but I would not let it put you off staying in the hotel
Very clean room and bathroom. Friendly staff.
Very noisy rooms. Great location, but due to crowded clubs and restaurants very noisy at night.
Hotel was nice but soooo noisy at night.
So noisy with same man partying every night outside hotel from 4am - 7am
one staff member refused to help for over 10 minutes until other staff member returned. all that was needed was a key. Instructions for room would help, i.e. airconditioning - freezing all night because we didn't see panel nor were we aware of aircon system.
The room and badroom are so confortable and clean. good location, close to metro station, bus turistic stop / Rambla Street.
Staffs are not so Friendly, except Julia. WIFI in room (4 floor) is not so efficient.
Modernized hotel with good and clean bathroom. Convenient central location.
Optional breakfast is low cost but not worth taking. At night street noise. Beds are (too) short.
Position of hotel. Staff Rooms
Could be a bit noisy. People not traffic.
no kettle in room (UK) and no refrigerator (USA)
Location was very convenient, close to major attractions. Price of accommodations was reasonable.
Be forewarned. Our room had bed bugs. I was bitten on both legs on ankle and knee areas. Spent a week after our stay with itchiness and scratching. Not happy at all about that! Also, didn't like the attitude of the staff. Their way of getting customers to visit their restaurant partners was to ridicule local establishments.
We were on the 5th floor and we could still hear people on the street like they were inside our room. Their version of a king bed is two twins together, needless to say my boyfriend and I had a hard time sleeping. Finally, we obviously weren't in Barcelona to watch tv but it is always nice to have it on before a nap. There were 3 channels, two were in German and the third was a QVC kind of shopping network. Staff was friendly, but would not recommend this place.
Great location in the heart of the city. Was worried about being able to sleep but apart from Saturday night it was great.
Didn't like that there wasn't a bar on site. Small lobby for meeting others. Reception staff not the friendliest but it was very busy.
Good location Good price Reasonable facilities
Staff was very unflexible, and check in and check out took longer than expected
Nocturnal noise on some occasions
location, close to restaurants, shops, bars and the metro. room was very clean, clean towels daily. Very modern looking. Free wifi in room.
Had 2 single beds pushed together instead of double. Woken throughout night by other guests making noise and cleaners early in morning as walls very thin. Cheap simple furnishings.
Loved the location, just on the Rambla really enjoyed the comfortable size of the room, lovely bathroom and even bidet. Beds were great.
Good hotel right in the centre of Barcelona. Very nice and friendly staff.
Good staff, excellent facilities, Cleanliness, Comfort and Great location.
If you get a room on the wrong side of hotel the noise is unreal you will not sleep
The hotel was very modern, very helpful polite staff. The location was perfect , just down the road from the nearest metro
It was noisy at night, I'm not putting this down to the hotel as u would expect this due it's location, and I knew full well wen I booked it after reading previous reviews! A few dodgy characters about at night, tell them no and they leave you alone. Again this is not a fault with the hotel!
We really liked this hotel. It was clean, tidy, modern and the staff were great ,very helpful
Location was good but the street had bars/clubs and was noisy at night
Nice rooms and showers.
The crazy partiers up all night.
Just about everything.
Lighting was a little too subdued. We had difficulty reading some of the fine print on maps etc
The hotel is in a great location for La Rambla. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms contemporary. Good amenities in the room including free wifi.
The hotel has another next door and the two are currently being amalgamated. This means that whilst one part of the foyer is contemporary and as seen in the pictures, through an archway is a more dated hotel still undergoing renovation. Whilst access to the rooms required a key card to work the lift right so appears secure, next to it was an unsecured stairwell! Breakfast is basic and served between 8 and 10, turn up any later and the staff will shoo you out!
Nice hotel very close to the heart of the gothic district and close to the ramblas. Very vibey outside at night
Was some building work going on when we arrived so a little bit noisy in the room with drilling. Didn't last long though.
