The apartments are basic but comfortable, modern building in a newly developed area opposite the Gran Via 2 Shopping centre (with huge Carrefour supermarket). Sandra the Receptionist was very kind and personable, and I was made to feel very welcome. TV with some English channels and good wifi, comfortable sofa to relax on. The regular TMB airport bus 46 stops just on Gran Via so very convenient (better than the more expensive aerobus which stops at Plaza Espana). The apartments are not in the city centre but Plaza Espana is just 10 mins, Plaza Catalunya 20 mins by metro (buy a T-10 card for €9.80 for 10 trips which can also be used for the airport bus 46!

The kitchen equipment was rather basic, no toaster or electric kettle...which is a shame.

The room was clean. The staff were very friendly. The hotel was just beside the great warehouse. Near to bus and metro.

We would like to have breakfast. We put our towels on the floor. Nobody changed them. Nobody come for garbage every day, first on the third day.

Location for Fira Granvia is absolutely excellent. It would have been perfect for a longer stay at the MWC event.

It wasnt classic hotel, its appartments.There is only one person in the lobby who check your reservation, give key (card). You dont see anyone else.All of the staff , they have changed every day was very polite and helpful.There is a big mall with many shops and Carefur is located just opposite the Barcelona livings.

The appartment is locate far from center, but it was easy reach it by bus 94 and 95.

The staff @ Barcelona were very helpful who tries their best to look after the customers. The location was very central to all a tourists may require.

The beds placed in a hotel charging more than 100euros is nothing to right home about. As a family of four, we booked Barcelona living only to be faced with a room with double bed and a sofa bed. Both the sofa bed and the double bed gave us all back and horrible body aches, they were sooo uncomfortable. I had stiff neck after sleeping on the sofa bed for two nights. The accommodation in Barcelona living charging more than 100euros is absolutely too expensive and not up to spa. This type of accommodation is meant for us to be able to cater for ourselves. The kitchen facility is inadequate to say the list. Using an old fashion kettle!!! That was a shock. The cups were too small to make a decent cup of tea. Having a couple of mugs can't be too expensive considering what is being charged. The pans are of the lowest quality and gets whatever one is cooking burnt. Its a shame that Barcelona living is just interested in charging and collecting money. Having to pay 600euros for 4nights and only had our beds changed twice and also the room cleaned thrice. For this amount of money beds should be changed everyday and rooms cleaned as well no matter which day of the week it is. We have experienced the stay living accommodation before, Barcelona living does not represent such experience in any way.

Only stayed for one night after a cruise, since our flight was the day after. The location was excellent, very near to the airport and just across the road from a big shopping mall. The apartment was comfortable and had all amenities needed for our short stay. Would definitely recommend these apartments.

The location was poor. It was not easy or quick to get into the city. But there was a good dept store nearby. I also found the beds really soft and the spellings were not well covered so they were not very comfy.

The apartment was not far from the airport...maybe a 5-10 min. bus ride. It was very clean and comfortable (though sparse), 24-hour check in and security, and the staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. There is a large, very nice shopping mall directly across the street that has a number of restaurants in it as well as a grocery store. There is also a small pizza restaurant/bar next door that you also serves breakfast pastries and coffee for the morning. We found everything we needed at the mall. Since we were only in Barcelona two nights and one full day, we ate one meal at the mall the first night, then on the 2nd night we purchased baguettes, meat and cheese at the grocery store and ate at the apartment. We appreciated that the apartment had a safe, a hairdryer and plenty of room to hang up clothes and loved the large bathroom and shower. We would definitely recommend this facility!

It would have been nice to have coffee/tea, creamer, sugar, salt & pepper supplied in the apartment kitchen and an alarm clock in the bedroom. We noticed that some of the people who sat at the lobby desk spoke very little English. We were able to communicate with what little Spanish we knew, but it was difficult at times. Also, quite a few restaurants at the mall refused to accept Visa credit cards and only accepted cash, which was a problem for us on the first night.

Found as a last minute option upon our arrival into Barcelona. I was searching the internet as we drove in from Granada with no reservations. I was panicking at the prices showing up so on a whim I searched the lowest rate category. The room was cool; sleek and super clean. WiFi worked and if you were staying a while the kitchenette seemed serviceable. Evidently the place is only a little over a year old. The staff was almost English speaking, and the young woman who struggled most tried very hard and we certainly worked it out. Not a great location to walk from for dining but if you have time to figure out the public transportation, it's right there. The hotel is on the edge of a kind of a working class neighborhood, not touristy at all. I'd book there again though for the price and the slick, minimalist, clean line condition of the place.

We found it confusing to get to but we were driving for the first time in Barcelona. The hotel basically provided a private parking garage (for a fee) 1/2 a block away which might be awkward for some. As I said before, the nearest food (tapas and bar) were pretty awful at night though the coffee and croissant were fine in the mornings. Best to use the kitchen and bring in some snacks.

Very good apart-hotel with a friendly and helping staff. There is Carrefour (where you could buy everything you need) on the opposite side of the street. If you are not in the mood to prepare food, it is also possible to go to many cafes and restaurants near the hotel. Good location near public transportation really makes it possible to reach city center in 15-20 minutes. If you need to wash something, then you can use wash-mashine in the hotel and it is free of charge (but please take into account that LG sometimes cannot wring out one piece of cloth).

We were in transit from Alacante to catch our plane to Montreal. The hotel location was great for this being quite close to both the train station and the airport. There are also bus stops close by making it easy to go into the city centre for just 2 Euros.

Big room with own cooking facilities

Having to find somewhere at the last minute for an exhibition, Barcelona Living was a gem of a find for me. It's position is ideal for attending shows at Gran Via - Fira Barcelona, as it's only a 5 minute walk away. You can see the expo centre from the front door! It's location is also great for travelling into the centre of Barcelona. The bus stop is again just across the road and the buses are very frequent. Another added bonus is the proximity to a rather large and pleasant shopping centre which is situated between the apartments and the expo centre. Ideal for grabbing breakfast, lunch or dinner or a spot of shopping of course! The staff are on duty 24 hours and were helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were spotlessly clean and to my surprise, serviced every day, which was appreciated as this is not usually the case in self-contained apartments. The free Wi-Fi throughout was very reliable. The kitchenette had everything you would need for a longer stay. A nice touch was the coffee and pastries served in the lobby area every morning. All in all, no complaints here and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these apartments to anyone and I will return here for sure when I next visit the city.

Barcelona Living is very clean & tidy. The staff are very friendly & very helpful & gave very useful information. We as a family felt safe staying there. There is a large shopping centre near, which is very Handy. Transport is very convenient. You can get a bus from & to the airport for only 2 euros each & its only a short ride. We recommend that you buy a t10 travel card from any Metro Station, can be used for sharing. We travelled all over Barcelona with ours. T50 cards are for single person use only. Yes we will come back again.

Wished we had brought some extra hangers, as only had 10 between the 3 of us! Also wished that we had taken our corkscrew & tin opener. It would be good if the microwave came with instructions! Just a polite request to other tenants, please take slippers & don't wear shoes, as you can hear every footstep! Especially during the night! We had women in high heels walking early hours of the morning(3am onwards) not fun, whilst we tried to sleep!

Good location, well priced and roomy apartments that work well for a family. Also close to the airport and only a 10-15 minute cab ride to the city center or you can take the subway as well.
