Very comfortable hotel in great location. Shopping centre accross the road with lots of shops & restaurants. We walked by the beach down to main coastal area & port for more restaurants and taxi back only €6. Fabulous breakfast with absolutely everything you could possible want. Lovely pool and relaxing area. Bedroom cozy and luxurious with slippers and dressing gowns, great bathroom and beautiful view of water

No safety deposit box in room

Great rooftop pool and bar area. Gym facilities were great. Staff attentive.

Internet was terrible. A bit far off the from downtown Barcelona. 10-15 min by Metro to Ramblas.

It was a beautiful hotel with very lovely designer feel, great bar and lounge/ wi fi area. We had a beautiful view on a high floor as requested and could see Sagrada Familia in the distance. Transport into town was easy.Fantastic comfortable bed.great bathroom.

Food and drinks pricey as you would expect.

The hotel has a nice structure and the swimming pool on the 13th floor is really nice.

The staff at the reception was very slow, they really need to improve this. I booked 3 twin rooms, and they gave us 3 doubles, had to go back to reception to change and had to wait for a very long time. The twin room was not prepared for 2 people, had to ask for towels etc, that have never been dleivered, ihad to go and grab then from the cleaning lady. The spa has a huge potntial but the bar is very poor and they don't take care of you, no towels were offered and staff was always absent if you needed something. Overall the structure has a huge potential but the hotel is managed very poorly.

The staff was too cold, too robotic...

In general it does not correspond to the level of Marriott group . It took me almost an hour to check in - the computer system was failing several times. Besides the girl at the reception tried to give me land side room instead of sea side I booked. I think she did it intentionally. All the rest is a little above average.

Was only possible to use your laptop in the reception-area and the connection didn't work properly.

The helpful staff. They were pleasant from the time we arrived to the minute we left, always willing to answer questions and offer help. The spa area was imaculately clean and maintained throughout the day to the highest standards. The room staff were very professional and worked to the highest standards.

Unfortunately the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

The design the most and the luxuriousness in the hotel

I chose this hotel, because it is right next to the Barcelona International Convention Center, where I had to attend the conference. It is also across the big shopping center, Diagonal Mar, and it is very conveniently located. It is also close to water, and it takes about 10-15 minutes by car to go to downtown from the hotel. I like the modern decor throughout the hotel and beautiful interior design. The room is large enough and comfortable, and the mini bar in the room is free of charge.

The breakfast is too pricy for what they offer. The internet wifi is free in the lobby, but the connection for the room has to be purchased. The inconvenience is that the purchase only lasts 24 hours, and you have to go to the lobby and purchase a new ticket. I don't know if it is eco- conscious or Barcelona has lack of paper, but there is no tissue paper in the guest room except a tiny packet of maybe 6-7 pieces of tissue paper. I've never stayed in the hotel, that does not provide tissue paper box.
