Prime location, close to everything. The service was great, breakfast was good. There's a free WiFi everywhere in the hotel. The staff was courteous and helpful.

good design Hotel With a very good location

This is the best hotel i have ever stayed in. The staff have perfect English and give excellent advice on restaurants and sight seeing. The Room was incredible, giant comfortable bed, rain shower, bath in the middle of the room and a complimentary bottle of Cava that came with chocolates and strawberries. As for location, the hotel is located right in the middle of Barcelona.

Tv must contain channels in languages other than spanish.. At least some english channels.

We received very warm welcome and farewell, it seems that hotel staff really takes care about their customers.

The location of the hotel was terrific, and the main staffer behind the desk, Phillip, was a huge help, very knowledgeable. The jacuzzi and sun deck on the 5th floor was nice. The decor on the main floor (floor 1) was very nicely decorated.

Overall, the negatives outweighed the positives though, sorry to say. The rest of the staff behind the desk were very unknowledgeable and only moderately helpful. The free Internet access (available supposedly anywhere in the hotel) was so slow and sometimes wouldn't connect at all from my room. While the design of the room was very "mod", and the tile work very cool, it was all very impractical:Two small round 12" diameter sinks, side by side made it impossible to wash your face or shave without getting water all over the floor - with no place to lay the small soap down nearby. Each day, we were given just 3 towels, two (well worn and stiff, not fluffy) bath towels and one hand towel for the two of us. Our thermostat was set on 19c and it was hot in the room all the time; We couldn't get the room temp cooler nor did we ever hear the a/c go on. Toiletries provided were limited...just a tube of shower gel, no shampoo or conditioner or lotion or tissue box, and the little space where you could put your own toiletries was too small for two people. The small cube for the toilet was tiny, and if you had to use it in the middle of the night, you'd be sure to wake up your partner. Breakfast was not included in our price (4 night stay averaging $224/night).

Room 209 has too much design and to little washing basins. There isn't a place to put your necessities kit.
