Overall an Ok place to stay I thought expensive compared with other Hotels I have stayed at during conferences around teh world. My only real complaint was the wireless internet 30 mins a day in room for business people is rubbish and teh internet was so slow it was clsoe to useless anyway.

It is a business hotel but it is possible to stay there for vacation with a very good treatment, they treat us very well. They have a very good self service restaurant for a dinner if you don´t want to go outside. The staff of the reception desk are very well prepared. When they have conventions, during the breaks people come out just in front of the entrance to smoke. They must find a solution to have another place for them, because sometimes you need to ask a lot "excuse-me" to go into the lobby of the hotel.

the room was huge, which was great as we had our 18 month old in a cot in the room with us. beautiful well-stocked bathroom and lovely heated pool with extensive opening hours and rarely busy. we visited the olympic stadium and the poble espanyol. 3 metro stops or even better, short bus trip into the ramblas. not much in terms of shopping/restaurants in the immediate vicinity. as with many other hotels, the prices of mini-bar, room-service, etc were ridiculous, and it was well worth it to cross the road to a mini-market or cafe instead!

Very polite staff, large rooms, good breakfast, comfortable large beds and very comfortable bathroom. Proximity to a central square (Pl. Espanya) and the beautiful magic fountain. The smell of mould coming out of the carpet.

The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. The hotel is well sound-proofed and the air conditioning is very silent which was very welcome as it was during a heat-wave that we stayed here. There was a good sized gym which we did not use and a fair sized swimming pool which we did make use of. We felt that the service at reception was a little distant and impersonal, however this is a very large hotel so perhaps inevitable. Also the bar was extremely expensive although this is an up-market hotel so again somewhat inevitable I suppose.

The location (200 M. from the Magic Fountain) and near by the Plaza d' Espagna. Also near metro and bus. Very good breakfast buffet. The prices of the drinks in the bar are very high. Also the beds are not very comfortabe (a bit hard).

Lovely large room with 2 double beds and sofa bed. Bathroom was superb with 2 hand basins, separate walk in shower and bath. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location was excellent for us as not too crowded but close to magic fountains, Olympic area and Poble Espagnol. Just a few minutes walk to metro station and numerous bus stops including the Barcelona Bus tour. The beds are very hard - the sofa bed is a bit better. The breakfast was very expensive at 13 euros per person, better to use the cafes in close proximity.

Very spacious rooms, very comfortable and quiet. Location is excellent, not in the rush city center, but close to Montjuc park and metro stations. Large choice for breakfast. Baby bed on demand. Perfect staff. Nothing to mention. If anything, free wifi in the rooms would be a valuable extra.

The room was spacious, in fact huge! Near to metro Espanya or Puble Sec, which u will use mostly to get to some of the attractions. Not much food variety around the vicinity, but not too far to get to the center where food is not a problem. Fitness facility was a plus. Breakfast was the same everyday, lacked variety.

Good location away from the hustle and bustle. Good small bars within walking distance. Room was really big and very nice. Would recommend to friends and family. Views weren't spectacular for our room, but we got it for an excellent price, and were out most of the day, but it would have been nicer to have a street view.

Handy location to metro, restaurants and attractions. Spacious rooms. Gym facilities good. Tea and coffee facilities in room would be great. Rooms not very soundproof. Cleaning, especially of bathroom, could have been better.

Good location, and fair price for a nice hotel. Free internet at lobby, good breakfast! We booked the hotel for 4 nights based on room only rate and add breakfast for 12 Euro/pp per day. When we check in I mentioned to the front desk that we would like to cancel the last day breakfast as we need to check out before 6:30am to catch flight. This however is not possible, although the hotel only start serving breakfast at 7:00. I though this is unfair, as you can cancel the room 24hrs before check in, but cannot cancel 1 breakfast 4 days ahead? The hotel promised to provide breakfast at lobby from 5am the day we check out, however it turn out to be only coffee and cookie. I think this is outrage to charge 24 euro (2x12) for 2 cups of coffee and 6 cookies.

Nice location close to Montjuic park and good conncetions to major attractions. Quiet, big and clean room with all facities. Good service and breakfast. I could not adjust the temperature of the room below 24 C (which we would have preferred for the night) even if it was a winter.

while this isn't a 'designer boutique' style hotel- everything is comfortable, huge scale- including the beds- and the staff are very attentive. there is no feeling that their other business- conferences/ meetings/ parties impinges in any way on the hotel experience of guests. The indoor pool was a bonus in a winter visit. Chosen because of it's proximity to the Palau Nacional / MNAC. enabling us to spend hours with the Romanesque collection.

The room was very large with two large beds and a good bathroom The swimming pool was dark with no loungers around the pool. It was not a place to relax. The saunas were in the separate male and female changing rooms and thus not siutable for a couple. They clearly see themselves as a business hotel and not a spa facility. The hotel was expensive considering the poor leisure facilities.
