Good location. Room's fotos, that we saw at site, when we booked, have no relation with reality. Room was poor, with very-very small window, bad smell in a room. Guy in reception can't explain us why our room was different that we booked. He only said, that it is the best room in a hostel! It's ridiculous !!! Very poor hostel !

The staff was very unfriendly and not willing to help. 1) My 6 months old pregnant wife needed to checkout alone. She was asked to carry the luggage alone to the first floor. The guy from the reception showed the way but didn't want to help. 2) It was not possible to have a shower in the shared facilities before we left in the evening (even when proposed to pay for it). 3) Soap and towels where not changed without requesting at the reception.

the location, which was in the part of Barcelona where I needed to be After careful review I booked the hotel, being under the impression that the so-called "superior" rooms all had a private bathroom with a full bath. However, although these are the only ones you see on the photos, the room I was allotted only had a very small shower. The new superior room also had old and very basic furniture. Staff were happy to help me find another hotel should I wish so, but when you arrive after a long day of travel, this was a bit of a letdown. Also at first staff denied they had any rooms with a full bath, then said they were only available in triple rooms, which were fully booked. Location and basic comfort, but have had better experiences.

Very good location and kind staff. Also, we were very pleased about cleanness and ability of wi-fi. We will recommend this hotel for everyone. :) The blanket was a bit too thin for January. It should be warmer for winter.

The location was good, 5 mins from Plc Universitat and a further 5 to Plc Catalunya and La rambla. The Shower was good and powerful Room was infested with Mosquitos (imagine in December), The bed seemed to have bed bugs as I couldn't sleep itching all night, tv had no english channels (not even cnn), You had to give the key to reception when you went out.

Very central location for Plaça Catalunya and Eixample area; inexpensive, simple, safe and clean room with tv, ac and tiny balcony; smallish, but functional shower/bathroom; friendly staff; free WiFi with solid coverage. Remember, this is not a five star hotel, but a two star hostal. But a very good one. The stairs might be an issue, so get in shape and don't bring excessive luggage. Also, bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper; the walls are thin and you will hear plenty of sounds (TV's, hairdriers, snoring, chatter...)

We arrived very early in the morning and of course we did not anticipate to be given a room but the staff tried to have a room ready for us as early as 9am and we are very grateful because we were very tired and my husband was sick from all the travelling. A kettle to heat water for coffee or tea would be mujch appreciated by hotel guests.

Clean with ample facilities. It represented great value for money. Had all the facilities of a more expensive hotel. I was more than pleased. The staff were polite and very helpful. All could speak good English & bent over backwards to make our stay pleasurable. Its cental location make it convenient for all routes ( to the city & airport) Excellent!!

Close to city centre. Affordable. Plenty of space. We liked the little courtyard to let the fresh air in. The free WiFi. The aircon.The helpful reception staff. We would certainly reccomend it The only thing was the lack of a fridge

The price was excellent, very clean, fantastic location. The bed was very uncomfortable and the air conditioning would suddenly make very loud, shrieking kinds of sounds and would wake us up. We had to turn it off, even though it was very hot. We didn't get much rest while at this hostal because of these things.
