Petit Palace Museum  

One of the best hotels we have stayed as a couple. My husband said "wow" upon seeing the room I booked as a Christmas pressie for him. We received a complimentary champagne and chocolates from the manager. We will definitely go back and stay again in this hotel as the location is in the heart of Barcelona's many main sights.

The dafe were extremly helpful and friendly. The room was modern, clean and had excellent facilities. We had our own laptop in our room and free wireless. I like how the safe worked as well using a bank card rather than a key. The room was warm and cosy. Excellent location only 5-10 minutes walk from the ramblers, easy access to the marina, shops, and historic sites.

Our family (2 adults+3 kids) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was centrally located, but quiet. It was easy to catch the double decker tour bus and see the sites, restaurants were in walking distance, and the neighborhood felt safe. The staff was excellent - very helpful with orienting us where we needed to go, and calling a taxi when we were leaving for the airport. The rooms was amazing - we got upgraded to a jacuzzi suite when the hotel became overbooked. We all loved the free in room wifi, and the lovely well appointed and stylish rooms. It was a great hotel in a beautiful city.

Location.. My daughter (45) thought it was hip and up to date

What I did not like was the fact the shower was slippery and there were no hold bars.... Fortunately, I bring my own bath mat... Looks like a law suit..watiing to happen...(for those who come unprepared).

I like the location of the hotel. You are close to everything: Shopping, Plaza Catalunya, La Rambla, Port Vell, and around 10 minutes to Barcelona Sants Train and Bus Station, etc

I didnt like the room type that was given to us. Although we were given a balcony, there were 2 stairs down to get to its door. It was dark at night and I fall down these stairs, thank God no bones were broken! I dont recommend the rooms with balconies at all!

Big room and terrace, jacuzzi outside it's a very good idea to relax after long day working or walking. Friendly staff.

Very unique style and decor. The family rooms are nice for a family as long as the kids are not afraid to sleep in the bunks. Our daughter wouldnt sleep there so we took the mattress down and she slept on the floor which worked fine for us. The room was clean and it was nice to have Wifi and a laptop provided. Bathroom was also clean and modern with a great rainhead shower. All staff we came in contact with were very helpful and pleasant. Just a bit of advice. The warnings about pickpockets and thieves are real. my pocketbook was stolen at a restaurant on the first day. So be aware and take extra precautions. I lost a brand new HD camcorder, camera, RX sunglasses, and ofcourse money. the staff at the hotel were very helpful and assisted in calls I needed to make.

I wish the bathrrom door was a lttle more private. When travelling with kids and extended family it was a lttle uncomfortable. The balcony was nice but the view wasnt great from our room. .

Excellent and friendly staff, nice and large rooms, central location and lively neighbourhood.

Rooms on back of first floor somehow noisy.

The decor of the lobby was very unique and "artsy". We really enjoyed just sitting in the comfortable lobby and looking at the art books. My teenage daughter was happy with the easy access to computers in the lobby and the room and the availability of free internet. The bedroom was exactly how we expected it to be from the photos. The extra large shower head was wonderful. The front desk staff was very accommodating and helpful. They recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner that was nearby.

One of the nightstand lights in our bedroom didn't work and one of the small TV's by the bunk beds didn't work, although staff was in our room promptly to attempt to fix it.
