Silken Gran Hotel Havana  

Hotelli oli oikein viihtyisä ja huone oli tilava. Respan toiminta oli nopeaa ja ystävällistä. Sijainti oli myös oikein hyvä. Aamiainen oli erittäin hyvä, vaikkakin aika kallis. Huoneen sai ihan pilkkopimeäksi pimennysverholla ja sänky oli todella hyvä!

Saunassa ei tullut löylyä vaikka se oli päällä.. Suomalaiset ovat varmaan tottuneet kunnon saunoihin, eikä pelkkä lämmin huone oikein aja asiaa.. Kylpyamme olisi voinut olla hieman isompi.

Hotel room was clean and enough space for family and bathroom was wide and prepared amenity is excellent.

We stayed 1st floor at street side. It was very noisy whole day and night. It was most noisy hotel which I stayed in my life. The sound also come from Metro. Every 5 minutes when metro passed underground, fuge noise generated around 10 seconds. We were unable to sleep.

Second time there this year and the standards are as high as the first time, friendly staff, clean tidy room, love the music/entertainment they had on the Friday and Saturday evening, well worth going to and it sets the evening off with a relaxing cocktail while listening to good music/singing

Nothing, it is a lovely hotel

From the moment we arrived the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The hotel is lovely and the rooms are first class the huge bed is so grand and very comfortable. Its situation in Barcelona is good as well just a 10/15 mins walk to La Rambla and plenty of restaurants are near by and the hotel staff are also happy to recommend which is helpful. The top floor of the hotel has a small swimming pool and wonderful views over the city. Would certainly go back to this hotel if we went back to Barcelona and would certainly recommend to people. I celebrated a birthday while out there and in the room there was a small box of chocolates and a card with Happy Birthday on. It is the little touches that go a long way.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable and were neat. Housekeeping was very good anf they provide free coffee and pastries.

I think the metro trains travel close to the hotel and one can feel the vibration. It is only a minor issue and ones gets used to it.

Hotel was very run down and scruffy. Staff were very abrubt and not welcoming, they did not appear happy in their jobs, athough they did carry out any requests made of them efficiently. i.e taxi request etc, Check-in procedure far too slow and reception clerk didn't advise any hotel information i.e breakfast times / location & facilities, we were not even advised how to get to our room or offered and baggage assistance. Rooms could have been cleaner. Roof pool area on 7th floor was OK but the bar wasn't open (until end June??) and no waiter service up there- sodrinks could only be got from ground floor foyer and taken up via normal lifts. Breakfast not brilliant and not enough hot selection or the best quality. Our terrace was tiny although our friends had decent sizes. Some areas i.e beds / tv's had been updated (cheaply) but rest of the room and bathroom hadn't been so overall it looked shabby and unco-ordinated- colours were very drab too which didn't help. No more than a very very average 3* hotel at best (and that's being generous) and not good value for money.

The hotel was just OK, the room was not clean very dusty, light bulbs not working just generally poor housekeeping & maintenance

The size of the bed, the bathroom was nice...the location was the best thing though...

Barman was a bit ignorant... There was a jazz/blues musician playing when we cam back late to the hotel and we were told we'd have to pay 24 euro to go inside and listen...even though he only played for another 20 minutes... Very bad form...

Location is close enough, it's about 10 min to walk to metro station. Very wide bed and high ceiling, so enough air even in the small room.

Rooms on the front face of the building it very noizy, a lot of traffic. Hotel services like breakfast (not included) or restorant in general is comparably expensive. Free services are also present but not communicated by staff. Bad smell in the room after cleaning and in the corridor. No slippers and bathrobes in room. Internet WiFi connection is slow, one connection per room and 'web only', so it's impossible to connect to company vpn or watch any youtube video. Room entry cards stopped to work 3 times per five days, expecially it's funny when elevator was broken and you have to come back from 5th floor. You can hear your neighbors, also you can hear hearbeat of your roommate in the toilet.
