The staff were so friendly and service was excellent. The rooms were comfortable, stylish and unlike some city hotels, not too small. Big fluffy towels and lovely toiletries as you would expect of a hotel of this standard. The rooftop terrace was a lovely place to relax with a glass of wine or two on an evening or during the day with a good book! A wonderful place to stay My only moan was that there weren't an coffee/tea making facilities in the room, although room service was available so not too much of a problem. Also, a lovely bakery just around the corner that made the most buttery croissants and lovely coffee too |

The location, cleanliness, animal friendly and design I sayed in the hotel for one week and did not sleep very well because of the hard bed. There were times when my legs and back hurt and became numb. One night, this might be ok but I would not recommend this hotel to my friends. No room service or confused room service, no hot water pot, utensils in the room. Food was a big inconveinance. The comunication about the services, how they work and when is not clear. |

The decoration of the hotel, well designed. The comfort of the rooms, the proximity of the underground. The breakfast! |

Fantastic staff - friendly, personable and helpful to a fault. The room was a standard hotel size but decorated very stylishly with a large bathroom, walk in shower and great quality toiletries (although hair conditioner would be the icing on the cake!). The roof terrace is a great place to relax. Breakfast is excellent, with a great choice and quality food. The double bed was actually two singles pushed together (due to the ash cloud I ended up staying two nights in different rooms and neither was a true double bed). Tea and coffee making facilities would be nice. |

Modern stylish hotel with only about 70 rooms. Friendly multi-lingual staff. 100 metres from Rocafort Metro station (4 stops to Placa Catalunya & 1 stop to Placa Espanya). The room was very warm but they don't switch on the Air Con until May. I opened a window to let some air in the first night but also let in the local mossies! Not a good idea. |

We loved this hotel and would definitely stay again. The room was beautiful and large, extremely well appointed. The staff were helpful in recommending dining. The area has tons of dining options. We intentionally did not stay in the heart of the tourist section, and were willing to walk back and forth, but it would have been nicer to be a bit closer. There was quite a bit of street noise at all hours. Parking is expensive and offsite. |

Small and personal hotel with elegant design. Great terass with bar on the roof for relaxing in the evening. Good food in restaurant. Free internet and dogs allowed without extra costs. Walking distance to downtown. Can't think of anything. |

We liked the hotel staff, the room, the easy access to the Metro system, and the rooftop bar. The atmosphere in the reception/bar/restarant area is very welcoming and there is a nice blend of music. There is easy access to a host of restaurants and bars in the area. Offering buffet breakfast for 13 euros plus tax did not appeal to any of our group. |

Our stay at Hotel Emilia was just perfect... loved the location.. your in the suburbs which is a very pleasant area but also only three stops on the metro into the centre of Barcelona. The hotel has got a lovely relaxing atmosphere, staff are friendly and efficient. We had a quick snack at the bar the day we were leaving and it was yummy. There's a really nice delicatessen right next door which was perfect for a coffee and pastry if you didn't want to have breakfast in the hotel. On the sunnier evenings we availed of the terrasse on the top floor which i'd also recommend. Really enjoyed our stay here and looking forward to areturn trip. |

Location, friendly staff, free coffee/pastries first day dealing with Jet lag! Thanks! Did not have ironing board available in the room, would have to ask for it. We did not like the open shower...floor got very wet after each use. No visible clock in the room. No real cable tv...would be nice to see some sports channel. |

staff very friendly and accomodating...our request for a quieter room at the back was agreed without hesitation. A little further from city centre/sights/bars/restaurants than I would have liked. |
