The hotel was amazing value for money considering what we paid! We had the roof pool on the 23rd floor to ourselves!! The breakfast was amazing!!

Close to the metro, shopping, allocated room was as expected, great breakfast. Received a small complementary bottle of champagne in the room when we returned to the room the Friday night we booked in, with strawberries dipped in dark chocolate - very nice touch. Again received a bigger bottle of champagne and assorted small tarts on my Birthday that Sunday night - even better!

Sauna was not working and due to a medical condition, I get serious muscle spasms and booked this hotel specifically for this reason - ended up messing with my holiday, stiff & pain and spending a whole day in bed – very disappointing.

technical maintencance - On arrival after a long trip I had to go up to my room 3 times because the key didnt work. Then they gave me a new room that was a disaster - the noise from the room above all night was terrible. When they flushed the toilet it sounded like the roof was coming in. So I couldnt sleep despite asking for a quite room on my booking form. Then at dawn the sun came in because the electric b linds did not work. The WiFi was unusable - connected but kept cutting out. The Manger insisted that the room and hotel were OK and they had just upgraded to 4 star. He insisted that I was an awkward customer despite. I insisted to himk that the Hotel should be returned to 3 Star or less. Will n ever stay there again and would certainly NOT recomment this especially at EUR 175 per night. I have had more confortable nights in a tent or hostel.

To be completely honest I was literally stunned by the great service & facilities offered! From the room to the location to the amenities! Princess Hotel certainly was such an amazing experience & will be on my list to stay at on my next visit to Barcelona! They also have a massage service which was great & I tried as I was coming on train from Paris

The pool was really great and the room was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful.

Where to start? On arrival we were told we could not have a seaview room, despite having booked one, eventually we were given one and had to take our bags up to a room on the 23rd floor without assistance. After about 5 minutes we tried to close an internal door seperating the bathroom and bedroom and a live light fitting fell out, i caught it to avoid it hitting my partners head, she then ran to turn the lights off so i didn't get electrocuted. We immediately complained and decide to go out for a coffee to wait for a repair. We returned after an hour and the light had been put back into it's fitting but was not securely fixed and all of the debris that had fallen out was left strewn about the room. We asked to be moved rooms and after several hours had to go to the front desk, to follow up this request, where we were told we could change rooms shortly, (took another hour) I asked to speak to someone about what had happened and was told that no one would be able to talk to me about it until tomorrow (this was at 1800 hrs!!). So we moved rooms. The new room STANK of sewage from the air con. Next morning it took several hours to see the manager who offered us free breakfast for the remainder of our stay which was gratefully accepted, he also left a small bottle of cava in our room that evening which was anice surprise. We told him about he smell and he sent someone to fix it which involved them spraying odour fixing spray around the room; the result was a chemically smelling room for 2 hours then back to sewage smell for the remainder of our stay. All in all we lost a day and a bit waiting for stuff to be sorted out, as well as having a live electrical fitting dropped in my hand. Not the worst experience ever but for the money a huge dissappointment :(

The breakfast was good. A large variety of food. The staff in general was ok. The barman was really helpful and nice.

I booked a pack "relax" including free access to the spa but the spa was closed because of a fire or something like that. I was really upset because I booked it 2 days before arrival (for my boyfriend birthday), but the spa was already close since the week before. I don't understand why they propose a pack that they can't offer. i've ask for the reclamation letter, but the manager told me that someone will call me so no need to write down my complaint. A week and a half later... still no call from them. I think is a theft and I really dessappointed by the service.

Stayed in hotel in May 2013. Good breakfast. The minibar (renewed every day) was free of charge to me. Big shopping center and tram stop is situated nearby, the sea - in five min distance on foot. Views from the top and from the room are spectacular.

The rooms were not quite as good, as I had expected. A lot of scratches on the furniture and the doors made of glass as well. Parking charge seems to me a little bit overpriced (20 eur)

The staff were helpful, seemed reluctant to talk though. The room had free drinks in the mini bar that were replenished daily. Comfortable bed, nice space in the room.

I had made a mistake and put smoking, the room was in poor condition, shower tap fell off, shower screen was very cracked, the tap in the sink was flopping around loose, the rooms front door was creaking and hard to close, like someone had tried to kick it in, the drains stank the whole room up. It was as if someone had a serious fight in the room. I called down strait away and about 30 minutes later we were in a non smoking room with all working amenities, but only a view of the building that housed the pool. I can't believe they put us in that room in the first place.

The room had bad smell from the bathroom. The bathroom had no air duct and no way to get rid of the bad smell. We couldn't open the windows as well. The sink sewer was blocked and the sink was filling up with water even when you wash your hands... We complained for the sink but nothing changed during our 5 days.

The only thing that will give this hotel a bad reputation was their staff who cleans the room.... We know that the checkout time is 12 but its only 10:30 but the staffs who cleans the seven floor are all very disrepecful n uneducated persons they keep up knoking the door to remind u of the time and they even open it to remind me!!!!! Hope the administration wil do something about this & get this guys a good lecture and drug test...

I really enjoyed the stay in this hotel. Staffs were friendly, room was clean enough and most important: I really love the various and delicious breakfast in this hotel!

The pool areas were way too small for a hotel of this size (and badly positioned for the sun!) Also having telephoned the hotel to pre book our "relaxing massage" on our second day at 6.30 pm, we found they had no record of this reservation! Slightly frustrating as we could have stayed at the Marriott for less, only booked for the massage. However, they managed to get us in at 9pm! And all was well in the end.

+ best hotel breakfast I've ever seen/eaten + the rooms have a very nice design and are convenient + the hotel overlooks the sea, the view is breathtaking + the hotel is a bit away from the city centre (however, within a walking distance from the beach) but is pretty close to the metro station - the location is perfect if you don't mind using public transportation

- the sauna was not functioning when we were there and the water in the outdoor swimming pool could have been warmer - check-in starts ad 3 p.m. and there seem to be no exceptions to this rule; they do store your luggage prior to the check-in, though

Modern city hotel with good connections to downtown. Excellent breakfast buffet. Shopping mall just behind the corner.

My wife loves this hotel feels like a princess staying in it. Diagonal Mar right beside the hotel we did a lot of shopping. Great view to the city we stayed on 23rd floor same level with swimming pool! Room is clean with electronic curtains. Free drinks in the fridge. 10 min walk to the beach although its not a real beach. Two diff companies tour buses stop beside the hotel. Tram to the city centre. Will be choosing Princess next year!

The room was modern, the view spectacular. Breakfast buffet was good. Next to a large shopping center with many restaurants. Good connections to city center.

There were no sprinklers in this high, fairly new building.

Friendly and helpful staff and amazing views from all floors via the glass lifts. and our room was of exceptional standard and lovely complimentary extras and the views from the 25 th floor wow wow.
