Location, good value, very helpful staff, good breakfast
window in room only opened a little.
Inner-city yet quiet neighbourhood good quality linens comfortable bed semi-secure parking at the door indoor and outdoor lap pool
blasé staff dull wear and tear on the wooden fittings lifeless atmosphere described as 4.5 km from the airport but that's only if you can't drive through buildings and mountains. Otherwise it's 14 km reserved parking is not available and the car park is small no restaurants nearby
Der Pool und die Lage
Even the hotel is not located in the city center ibe has to pay for Outdoor parking.
Enjoyed our time in Bilbao ,hotel near to Metro, easy access into city.Staff very friendly, room cool and comfortable, bed was vast, plenty of choice for all tastes at breakfast.
Parking charges a bit steep 35 euros for two days.
Nice staff, spacious room. Okay breakfast. Parking at the hotel.
About 20 minutes walking (up hill) to city center. Not much to do in the surroundings.
Breakfast was good
We had booked two rooms for the six of us.4 kids aged 15-9 plus ourselves. The hotel only had king sized beds so we had to sleep 3 in a bed - Not acceptable for the money. They had no extra beds left. Staff just shrugged! The bed in one room had a broken leg and inoperative TV control but we couldn't face complaining
It was my first time in Spain. The customer service was on point and I enjoyed staying there. It's not far from the underground train station and gives you a nice view if you walk towards the Guggenheim museum.
Room, Pool and Food are fine. And the staff is very friendly. In our broken car window case they were extremely helpful and sympathetic!
We couldn't get a place on the parking lot of the hotel when we arrived and had to park the car in the street around the corner. Naturally in the following night a window was thrown in, the car was towed away by the police and the next day was busy with organizing, cleaning, taping the missing window... So, make sure you get a place on the hotel's parking!
Easy access to Train.Hotel Clean and friendly
Close to the festivities but far enough to get a quiet sleep. Staff was helpful and all were pleasant. Location was very good offering a wonderful view of, the city.
All was good.
Clean, efficient staff on reception, good facilities and location. Good value for money
Food quality wasn't great and sometimes served cold! Staff serving food were not very accommodating
The staff isn't very friendly and actually look like they are making you a favour even if you are paying quite a lot. I'm a young guy and i don't feel i've been treated properly maybe because of my age but i'm an engineer and my friend as well and we didn't feel welcome in the hotel. And last but not least tell your employees to smile. People in holiday wants to see smiles. You are quite far from being a great company. Best Daniele
The breakfast, the cleanliness of bed sheets.
The mattress felt like I would fall from the bed if I was leaning to the side of the bed.
Poor Wi-fi connection
This hotel was nice. Good facilities, nice pool, nice rooms.
Some of the staff were excellent (particularly reception) but some (particularly bar staff) were slow, ignorant and had an air of arrogance or self importance. It almost felt like snobbery.
The hotel is located very well if you enjoy a nice steep walk downhill to the old city and back uphill. We did. The pool is very fine, staff friendly and helpfull. Rooms are OK, especially the new ones, bathrooms fine and clean. Breakfast good.
There seems to be a miscommunication between the hotel and booking.com as far as the capacity of the rooms goes. We were offered a room for 3 by booking.com which is just a double room and since the extra(paid) beds were not available spent an uncomfortable first night. The hotel provided a bed free of charge for the 2nd. We were not the only ones dissapointed by the situation. Booking.com: offer a room for 3 teenagers - don't have them stay in one bed but include sufficient sleeping space in your offer!
The spa was incredible well worth the price
The fact that the indoor pool does not exist and is part of the photography of the booking.com listing.
-The lounge floor and refurbished rooms are really nice and cozy; -The breakfast was very good and the staff at the meals were very nice and friendly, always trying to anticipate our needs. Top points here!! -The location is good as it is just 4-5 minute walk from Santutxu metro station. If you're not in a hurry, you can go to the city on your foot through Etxebarri Park as it is downhill and very nice.
The first room assigned to me was really old and beaten up and was poorly cleaned has it had hairs on the bidet and floor of the bathroom. The carpet of the room was also dirty and stained. It didn't resemble with the room on the pictures. It seemed that the pictures were from when the rooms where new. I asked to change room and they gave me another one that was completely different, almost new. I was explained that the hotel was being refurbished and the first room was on "pre-refurbish". Even though the second room was new and with good materials, it had lots of small details that weren't good, to know: -The spot lights on the bedroom, one was fused and other was blinking, so I had to turn it off and no one fixed that during all our stay, even though the cleaning staff went to our room everyday. -The safe wasn't working has it was locked with the door open. Spoke with the receptionist on the entrance day and no one fixed that during our stay (5 nights); -During the night, you could hear the water falling inside the pipes from the floor above. -Only tried to use the LCD TV on the last day, but after some time it seemed to overheat and it would go black without image and started to blink a light. After half a minute it would start working again by itself. -popping from behind the bathroom mirror, was visible an electric cable, poorly isolated has the copper wires were visible and very dangerous for a children. -The bathroom didn't have a shower base, only a glass cabin that didn't hold the water so after a bath the water had flowed to the central bathroom sink instead of the sink on the shower zone. On top of this, even though WC floor stayed all wet after the morning baths, they didn't clean the floor and as we arrived after dinner we could see the water stains on the WC floor. -The shower cabin itself had one of the handles broken.
Room and other facilities were clean; bathroom was spacious, with an excellent shower
Room (at the roadside) was rather noisy at night. The wifi-system is outdated (requires a logins through a webpage upon each connection event) and slow
Great hotel, friendly helpful staff despite me not knowing Spanish! Nice location....rooms were quite luxurious I thought in terms of resources. Nice restaurant downstairs. Very good experience!!!
Excellent, helpful staff.
The area on the fifth floor where our room was, hallway unfinished bathroom and room needed deep cleaning.
parking, rooms, location..
-bed noise wen moving in bed, disturbing sleep. -quality/avalibility of wi-fi in the rooms
