The apartment was well kitted out, modern and comfortable
We were in an adjoining apartment where we could hear everything from next door. It was only a sliding door separating us from another couple. The stairwell was also noisy when people were coming in and out of the apartments and it felt that the walls were very thin. The couple in our 'adjoined' apartment were also smoking which came straight into our aprtament. the management however were very attentive and quick on the mark and knocked on their door to speak to them, however it occurred again in the morning. This behaviour however is out with the management control
Very clean, good location, friendly staff
staff don't speak in English poorly equiped apartman
- Good Location - Friendly Staff - Fresh Towels / Maid Service Daily - Good Value for Money - AC, TV, Fridge, Microwave, Toaster - Automatic Shades on the Windows - Lift in the Building - Roof Terrace
- Poor Wi-Fi Connection - Our Apartment had a tiny Bathroom
Location close to the metro, WiFi was great and the apartment looked newly built and fully equipped. There is a reception 24 hours in case you need anything.
Sometimes the hot water runs out too soon. I believe it might be a problem for more than two people.
The metro is close and there are many markets near the area.Even the lady in reception does not speak English she was friendly and nice..The equipment in kitchen was helpful.
Really bad soundproofing.. Another disadvantage is the fact that the stuff did not respond to my emails,so not so good communication..
Location, close to metro station, not far from Sagrada Familia, very clean, 24h open reception, friendly staff.
Easy access to the metro only 5mins walk Restaurants nearby
The apartment I had was perfect for my stay, having previously read reviews which said this place is noisy, this is not true, as a light sleeper I had no noise disturbance whatsoever. The staff on reception are very friendly, and accomodating helping with any query about the hotel, location or getting around. Good location, good wifi, good shower, clean and comfortable in all ways.
They let me leave a bag in reception on my last day prior to a late flight. It was at my own risk, but I would not recommend others to do this as it was in an insecure cupboard and no-one questioned me when I went back to collect it. Other than that, nothing to dislike about this place
Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, WiFi was all right
Very noisy - the walls are REALLY thin and we've heard snoring, constantly talking neighbours. One wall was simply a thin door which was locked. We booked one extra bed for our child - which stood between the eating table and the elevator shaft. Only two windows in the apartment - one in the bedroom and a small one in the bathroom (which pointed directly to the elevator shaft).
The rooms were clean- maid service every day, Although we ate all meals out, the kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfy, clean towels each day. Small balcony up on 6th floor(by reception- there are 2 lifts) with a couple of tables and some chairs- pleasant to sit out with our own drinks late at night when we came back.Close to Metro, restaurants, bars and shops Very close to stunning Sant Pau- a must to see in Barcelona and only a short walk from Sagrada Familia. Turn right when you come out of the front door and there is a cafe/ bakery where you can get a good deal on coffee and croissants / pastries, sandwiches.
No real complaints- not the best outlook(we were at the back) but this is a city centre apartment so no real views to be had.
Good location (200m to Metro station). Quite clean. All basic facilities provided in kitchen. Good value. Staff friendly. 24-hr reception.
The apartment was very cramped for family-group of 2 adults and 3 adult children. The layout was strange, with 1 single bedroom (with door) and 1 double bedroom (with no door! ) We managed - just! - as we were mostly out of the apartment sightseeing. A spare key would have been useful too.
the location 10 minutes walking from the sagrata familia
internet didn't work at all for my staying, hot water run out really soon, i took a shower and after me my boyfriend and while he was under the shower suddenly more hot water, the shower had a bed smell. i paid almost 200euros for 2 nights for no internet no hot water was sun a waste of money !the staff was ok
location is good
difficult to find the hotel
The receptionist was lovely, welcoming and helpful and provided maps and information. We checked in early which was no problem and she kindly offered to keep our cases until the room was ready. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet. We all slept well. Easy access from the hotel to major attractions and metro close by.
Right next to the beautiful Sam Pau Hospital. A little off the beaten path so in a quieter residential area. The appartment was modern, efficiently laid out, and had everything I needed. Lots if eateries near by. Very safe ares, metro close by.
The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, especially Ampara; this is always a deal-breaker. The location (the LOCATION!) is the best in the city. It's also in a quiet neighbourhood which helps at night. Levels of cleanliness excellent. Generally made to feel welcome.
The level of English spoken is poor - which you wouldn't know given the excellent English website. The steps to get to the lift. The terrace REALLY needs an umbrella for shade, didn't use it because of this. Certain sites on the web says the establishment has a computer for use by guests, this is untrue. The floor of the showers is also cheap plastic and VERY slippery, they need to put down some rubber mats. The rooms also need a secure safe with a digital lock, as in most hotels.
Poor English ability of the staffs
Located in the Garcia area of Barcelona within a 10 minute walk to Sagrada Familia and if you wish a 25 minute up hill walk to Park Guell (5 minutes by Taxi). The Church of Saint Paul is at the end of the street. Definitely a good choice for these sights - it was however a good 15 minute drive to the centre by Taxi, did not use the metro although it was nearby. Cost was reasonable and the property was clean but modest. The apartments are in an older residential block with the reception on the 6th level. Access by two small elevators.
- Thin walls (a little embarassing) - Towels were so thin and tattered - Reception was difficult on check in as the ladies had little English. Which I can quite understand but it was difficult to ask for sightseeing information, plus parking etc. - They said that they could park our car for a fee but on arrival we were told our car was too big!! We were eventually sent to one around the corner which negotiated a rate of 40 euro for two days (Citroen 3)
I stayed in bcnstop for 5 nights the flat was very clean, its location was perfect and the staff were very helpful, i would recommend it for anyone going to barcelona.
Sometimes the wifi is a bit slow.
Very good location
Too much noise, very poor soundproofing we heard everything from next room. Thank god it was only one guy!!!
Location location location
Shader was broken
The location was good
The apartment is very small, with a supertiny bathroom (so small it was difficult to use it) and the walls seems of paper because you are able to listen to conversations in other apartments. It doesn't deserve the amount of money they ask for it.
the location, near a metro station and a large supermarket the policy of cleaning
some of the facilities did not work (the toaster and one of the stove and the indicating lights of the stove
Location is pretty convenient, only one metro stop from Sagrada Familia, the neighbourhood is full of cosy cafes and cheap restaurants. The staff is friendly and English-speaking, always helpful. Very clean apartment, towels changed everyday.
Not a lot of space, especially in the bathroom. Hot water is available only via boiler and runs out pretty fast. Queen-size bed, not suitable for tall people. Kitchen is of no use, unless you travel with a supply of salt-sugar-oil etc.
The rooms were kept clean. The location was excellent for our requirement. The price was excellent. Overall the facilities were good.
Main complaint was the noise level as the very thin walls meant that we could hear neighbouring tenants and they were very noisy. Also location next to lifts raised noise levels. The towels were poor quality.
