Location and price were great!
Staff was nice, but not altogether that helpful. There was a mix up with the room that was needed and it never really got fixed. While that really wasn't the staff's fault, there was kind of a lack of communication on what was going on.
Very nice location, outside the immediate tourist traps and a Metro station nearby. Nice restaurants/bars and "placas" nearby to hang out and relax, which was much appreciated after having spent the days amongst swarming tourists trying to get a glimpse of the sights all around town. The Gracia neighborhood is very alive with a healthy proportion of locals. The hotel was very clean and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Good air-conditioning. Free hot/cold water dispenser. Automatic vending machines for snacks hot-drinks right outside the rooms. We could leave our luggage free of charge on the last day until we had to fly out. All in all very good quality/price ratio for the whole package.
A bit noisy, since there is a bar across the street and not much in terms of noise insulation. Not a real problem for us, but to someone who needs absolute quiet to sleep I suggest ear plugs.
I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel. Our room was comfortable, it was cleaned every day, wifi worked properly and the staff were helpful. The hostel is not that far from the metro and you can actually walk to Sagrada Familia, it's not very far, too.
It was very clean room, but it looks like a hospital ward. It's only to spend the night.
Very near Metro, Lovely friendly, helpful lady on desk in the evenings.
Décor needs updating, grouting in shower black. Man on desk in mornings not very friendly.
location in popular neighbourhood
Room smelled terribly, above a bar so very noisy
Very nice and helpful staff, central location, nice and safe quarter. Would stay there again.
The staff The location And the cleanliness.
No insulation from outside noise, especially on Saturday night.
The room was good but the TV did not work the air com did not work the niose was bad from the street below would not go back there
Cleanliness and quietness of the hôtel, as well as a very polite and available staff.
The mattress was good and really standable for 5 nights but can be better.
excellent englishspeaking staff, very good location, clean
poor lighting in the room
The location is excellent in the central of barcelona 5 minutes walking to metro and bus station and 10 minutes walk to one of the biggest shopping streets all brands and price is very good and rooms are clean
Very clean hotel, extremely quiet and secure. Good and knowledgeable personnel. The location is perfect in terms of supermarkets, cafes etc. For longer stays when there is no need to rush around the city but enjoy long walks around.
There was a terrible bed in the 2+2 room, impossible to sleep, all bumpy and folding. I wonder how 2 people would be able to sleep on it (we were three in the room). The personnel didn't respond to a request to replace it.
Wonderful,,, very clean hotel and the staff are amazing. Very close to metro station and airport bus station as well as the main touristic street; le rambla. If I go back to Barcelona, I will stay there again, definately.
Nice small hotel in a great location in Barcelona. Free Wi-Fi that worked great the whole time. There was a super sweet lady at reception who was very nice. The establishment was very clean. Excellent price considering the benefits that you get.
Many reviews complained about noise but I didn't have a problem (could be because we were there during week days?). However, I really have nothing to complain about.
Good location, close to everything and in a quiet location. One of the receptionist girls has been very kind and helpful, because my flight arrived too early in the morning, and even when the check-in time is 14hs, I gave it a try and went to the hotel earlier than that, and she allowed to check-in and get into the room (of course it was already available). Also, the same girl allowed me to move to another room when I complained that the one it was originally assigned to me was extremely noisy.
The room I first got in the first floor was extremely noisy in the sense that everything what happened outside the room seemed to be happening inside, even when people talked in the reception (ground floor) it was heard like they were shouting right on the other side of the room's door. They also had the great idea to put some chairs, table and coffee machine to make a kind of chill out place, as an extension of the corridor in the first floor, so when people meet there or just have a chat by phone, everything is heard from inside the room.
Location near metro on a small street, supply of clean towels and soap, strong wi-fi, machine with free hot water. Small supermarkets on the next streets. Helpful staff, speaking english. Storing luggage until evening after check-out.
They don't wash floors when clean the room. Their page says they have laundry, but it is not true, I had to wash my t-shirts myself in the bathroom. My room was tiny, no any bedside table. No hairdryer. No cheap restaurants nearby. You get only room to sleep, nothing more, and food can be a problem.
The hotel staff is very friendly, helpful, just excellent! I feel a kind of moral obligation towards them. Especially the girl (Lizeth or Lisel or...) who was on duty on 29.09.13 at appr. 8.00 p.m. The plane came without belongings of all passengers, so it was a tough job to get along without personal belongings. Thank you to that girl on duty!
At the night of my arrival I was going to book several nights more the following day for the same price at my arrival. I was told that this would be possible but at the next day prices upped, so I moved to another hotel.
Great value, clean, comfortable, great staff, great location.
Very small room, and loud at night.
the whole staff was really nice, i stayed for a long time and became like family to most of them. Special Thanks to Abraham!
The staff was really nice each and everyone of them specially the people at the front desk. Spent 14 nights there, they became my family.
It is in the centre of Gracia with all the shops around it. The stuff was amazing and friendly with very good English and they helped us in some problems which we had the first days of our staying in Barcelona. Excellent Wifi signal and air-condition.
Very noisy but the reason is the central road which is full of people. The first day we had problem with the shutters which were broken and it was impossible to see the view of the balcony. But the stuff fixed it the next day. Furthermore the room was very small but it was ok with the money which we gave.
Staffs are helpful and friendly. They help us print air fight tickets. feel the local people's life.
The toilet room is stuffy due to the lack of ventilation, no window and ect.
