A little noisy during weekend
We live just outside of Barcelona in a small village and we wanted a weekend in the city, BCN Urban Bonavista was perfect for that, the price was fantastic considering the great location in Gracia which is within easy walking distance of the centre. The room was small but had everything you need for a weekend stay, the bed was very comfortable with great pillows. We have already booked here to stay again in January, would definitely recommend here for a short stay.
The size of the shower was not big enough.
great location, very close to the main boulevard, shopping, public transport and restaurants
there was only a chair in the room to place personal items on. it would have been more comfortable if a small table was made available.
1. Perfect location!!! 4 minutes walk from Diagonal subway station 2. Superfriendly, very helpful, positive and kind english-speaking staff at 24-hours reception!!! especially David, thank you again for your help and kindness, for being so nice and funny! 3. Excellent working very fast free wi-fi in the room 4. Very cheap price for ensuite double room in the city center Very nice, clean modern hotel in the center of Barcelona - I recommend it to everyone, you won't be disappointed! We're gonna stay there next time while in Barcelona. Thank you!
Only one thing that we didn't like - the bed and pillows were uncomfortable, we didn't have good nights there... We felt cold and wind from the window, because the bed was near the window. And so much loud noise from outside our room (from corridor)
The staff was very kind, the location is great, the wifi works, you have your own bathroom, there is a lift, vending machines and it didn't cost a fortune - I'll try and book this hotel again for sure;-)
We enjoyed our room very much, it was clean, well distributed, and quite confortable.
only 2 drawbacks. First, there's a funny smell on the common areas, something between garbage and cured meat. It is not present on the room, but it bothers a bit. Second, the weird "doorman" policy. You can't leave unless there someone from the staff at the reception. Besides being a bother to have to wait if there's no one there (and it happened 3 times on a one night stay), is quite the fire hazard to have the main exit locked.
Position, free wifi, price
Room and bathroom was basic and small, a bit noisy in the night. Staff tell me to pay city tax twice.
Location, big room
There was a bad smell coming from the toilet pipes in our room which needs to be checked, no hairdryer in the room.
location, free wifi
small room and bathroom
Clean, great location, good service.
No parking small noisy
A great location in a very nice, cozy and safe neighborhood, a place I would like to live in. Wifi was good.
A quite impersonal service; some members of the staff were nice and friendly, but others weren't. Rooms were small, minimalist; I believe it was possible to make them more comfortable and cozy without spending too much. The windows lack blinds, which would improve the quality of the sleep.
I liked the very soft pillows and towels , though the rooms are small, this hotel is spotless.
Bit noisy, but in the city centre of Barcelona. Rooms very small but adequate for a one night stay, any longer no where to open or store a case. Staff very friendly and helpful, no food available but lots cafes very close for breakfast.
the promptness of service the cleanliness it met all my expectations
Location and price were great!
Staff was nice, but not altogether that helpful. There was a mix up with the room that was needed and it never really got fixed. While that really wasn't the staff's fault, there was kind of a lack of communication on what was going on.
Very nice location, outside the immediate tourist traps and a Metro station nearby. Nice restaurants/bars and "placas" nearby to hang out and relax, which was much appreciated after having spent the days amongst swarming tourists trying to get a glimpse of the sights all around town. The Gracia neighborhood is very alive with a healthy proportion of locals. The hotel was very clean and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Good air-conditioning. Free hot/cold water dispenser. Automatic vending machines for snacks hot-drinks right outside the rooms. We could leave our luggage free of charge on the last day until we had to fly out. All in all very good quality/price ratio for the whole package.
A bit noisy, since there is a bar across the street and not much in terms of noise insulation. Not a real problem for us, but to someone who needs absolute quiet to sleep I suggest ear plugs.
I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel. Our room was comfortable, it was cleaned every day, wifi worked properly and the staff were helpful. The hostel is not that far from the metro and you can actually walk to Sagrada Familia, it's not very far, too.
It was very clean room, but it looks like a hospital ward. It's only to spend the night.
Very near Metro, Lovely friendly, helpful lady on desk in the evenings.
Décor needs updating, grouting in shower black. Man on desk in mornings not very friendly.
location in popular neighbourhood
Room smelled terribly, above a bar so very noisy
Very nice and helpful staff, central location, nice and safe quarter. Would stay there again.
