Score from 765 reviews Very good
The hotel staff were helpful and staff in the dining room were attentive. The pool was spacious, clean and never over-crowded. We were all-inclusive and could not fault the extensive choice of food and the times it was offered. Plenty of choice on drinks too. A great holiday.
I was coming over to see friends. I didn't spend that much time in the hotel. Breakfast was something for every one. Sets you up for the day. Walking distance to San Agustín. Staff where very lovely.
The coffee with the breakfast was terrible.
buffet was very good. variety of food was good
Nice pool, short walk to main street with shops, restaurants and beaches. Great view from balcony!
Tiny elevators and long waits to get in. No free wifi. Sometimes noisy in the hallway late at night.
very good hotel,nice staff
no wifi in room
Good food ,service and staff
My third time in three years staying at the BQ and the standards and experience remains excellent. The buffets are always of a high standard, with dishes like slow cooked pork belly and sword fish (which would cost a lot in restaurants) available. They even make bland, difficult veg like spinach nice by adding raisins and pine nuts (delish). The hotel is spotless and the staff friendly and efficient, never in your face but things get done. Highly recommend it.
The lifts are small but if you can use the spotless, marbled stairwells then you should and take time to enjoy the nice artwork there.
I've been in BQ Belvedere with my girlfriend. We've really enjoyed staying there. Food! In our opinion the most strong factor about the hotel. Delicious meals with lot of variety. Alcohol - good as always. Bus taking you to the beach without additional costs - present. Quite large pool and lot other surprises like: pizza bar, snack's bar etc. Rooms are comfortable with working air conditioners. Lots of activities like zumba, aqua gym and much more! Great place suitable for adults as much as for children and older people.
Unfortunately there are a few drawbacks either. WI-FI was horrible! I've only needed it to make some payments 'cause, as we all know, we're going on holiday to have fun, and not sitting on the internet, but it was almost impossible. For a half of a day internet wasn't workning at all, and when it start working the connection was unbearable. But what needed to be done was done. Another con was a little bit of a language gap between personel. On booking.com I was told to pay 491 pounds and I'll be charged on the arrival day. 3 days before arrival i was charged 80 pounds (?) and at the arrival 423 pounds or so. I've paid a little bit more than i supposed and none of the staff can help me couse they seem not understanding what was the point. The last inconvience was the beds which were sliding with a little bit of movement.
The resort was lovely, swimming pool had grass areas with flower beds & enough loungers to go round... Loungers aren't very comfortable if you lay on your front, but the grass was there so can't complain too much. Bar staff were really friendly even during busy times, self service for soft drinks was a bonus & selection of drinks on all inclusive was better than normal. There was always something nice to eat, but they could do with extra veg & salad selections, lots of carb options, but not enough veg to get your 5 a day.
The all inclusive wine was terrible - Don Simon on tap. . we paid to upgrade to nicer bottles at dinner. My boyfriend got a bad back from the bed.
great location, excellent value for money. Food very good considering price we paid
pool good but cold all inc good plenty of food a bit out of the way but there is a shuttle bus to the beach and there is also a bus stop just outside the hotel with buses going into palma air con in room tv in room but could have done with a few more English channels and tv should be bigger instead of just a small portable only had single room so tv may have been better in different room shower good but bath should be bigger
wifi slow bed too hard
+ very clean room and bathroom + friendly staff + plenty of food + nice infrastucture, swimming pool etc. + location suited to our needs. we liked that hotel very much, although we rent a car and travel across the island, so were not tourists who stay whole time in hotel laying around the pool.
- food - quality of drinks - paid wi-fi - thin door first thing first, we are not some posh people or something, but food wasn't the best. Drinks - well do NOT order mojito or campari, I know that every barman is doing them in different way = ), but they were just undrinkable.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The all inclusive option was a great value for money. Perfect for people who want a relaxing holiday.
Good range of food & drink available on ai Spotlessly clean Free air con
Sunbeds very uncomfortable - no matresses Charging for wifi which was rubbish kept cutting out Not enough lifts
Always something available to eat from 07.30 - 11pm Pizzeria, snack bar, restaurant, bar, ice cream, popcorn etc. Plenty of sunbeds.
The Belvedere is a very nice hotel, clean and well kept with comfy beds and generally amicable and helpful staff. But location is high above and rather far from the sea so forget about walking to the beach.
Food is plentiful but too often substandard. Most ingredients are the cheapest possible, like old bread and fake bacon (from pressed pork scraps). A big and varied buffet table but unfortunately not much of it was tempting. Eating alternatives are limited, no restaurants or supermarkets in the immediate neighbourhood.
Staff, food, cleanliness, quiet
A lot of smokers in communal areas could do with non smoking areas around pools and snack bars
Good location very clean
Poor vending machines when bar was shut water very expensive no alternative other than vending machines to buy snacks drinks etc
great pool -nice hotel
drinks were vile-no branded beer etc available--heart attack steep climb from beach
restaurant bar swimming pool
- swimming pool in front of the hotel - cheap all inclusive offer
- 4 euro for the internet which was not working in my room and in the lobby it took 25 minutes to send one picture - doors were not soundproof at all, you could hear every step in the hallway
Food very good No queues for the all inclusive Lovely pool area Friendly staff Nice view A lovely stay
Small and cramped lifts and only three available frustrating waiting. Car park very 'off road'
Very clean, spacious and comfortable room with a balcony. Really liked it, I would stay there again. There was in general a pleasant atmosphere. There are frequent buses from the hotel to the city centre.
The water pressure in the shower is not great but that is probably not specific to this hotel. The location is a bit far from the city centre, but there are excellent public transport links (see "+"). The breakfast could be improved but wasn't too bad.
Hotel was clean and tidy, food was the usual stuff you get at an all inclusive in Spain, plentiful and filling. The pool area was lovely with lots of sun loungers available. Free bus to the beachfront. All in all a good value for money holiday!
Some of the bar staff were a bit unfriendly but they looked like they worked long shifts so can't blame them really.
Little wait at bars for drinks (September). Decent snacks/food during the daytime. Located somewhat close to beaches. Clean facilities/pool area Close to nightclub district if at all interested.
Breakfast and dinner wasn't the greatest (I wasnt expecting much at an all inclusive but still wasn't great). A bit of a hike from airport and to mallorca town centre.
