First the good bits. The property inside is clean, well maintained and the staff who i dealt with very efficient and friendly. They arranged to meet us at the bus stop and take us to the property, which was a very good thing because therein lies the problem (or one of them)....so please see the negative bits for the full story...
First of all it should be made very clear in the booking. com "text" that this property is totally unsuitable for people using public transport. Its perched right at the top of the village and there's some very stiff climbing to get back after a night out. We are not beginners when it comes to trekking (that was the purpose of the holiday) but after a few beers and a meal the trek up became VERY onerous. My biggest gripe though and its one that i can't really fathom why it happened or even begin to excuse is in the booking.com "text" it clearly says "this apartment features a terrace" blah blah blah. So when i asked where it was the chap said "oh, there isn't one" and genuinely looked at me as if i'd gone a bit mad. Now i wouldn't have booked it if i'd have known there wasn't any outside space. But there just seems to be no form of recompense or recourse. You're stuck up in the sticks, they've already taken half your money, are just about to take the other half and you are simply not getting what you have paid for. Don't people actually look and see what it actually says about them...how they are being "sold" on the site...is it factually correct? Would you put an advert online or in a paper without bothering to read it back? At best incredibly negligent...at worst bordering on something knowingly misleading. The acid test is would i stay here again?.... Not in a million years
