View from the balcony
I dont like the fact they charged me for the wifi in the hotel whereas other hotels dont.
The view from the balcony was fabulous
Breakfast coffe and orange juice were of poor quality
dinners better than breakfast....friendly staff
bit of walk back late at night.....ok for break ....not for week or two week holiday....
But this hotel was not for the young i was on a 40th birthday weekend and we were the youngest by a clear 30 years. Entertainment was ballroom dancing and balloon magic. But if you fit into thenolder demographic then this hotel is spot on. Mainly eastern european guests.
Not much atmosphear and the poor area felt like gods waitingroom
Rooms with views, sun all day. Evening meal very good
Breakfast not great. Staff in dining room always chasing around felt very pressured to be quick when still plenty of time before restaurant closed.
Two slow lifts capable of taking a small amount of people
Location is great, communal balcony with pool is good.
Too expensive for overall package, food for breakfast was poor. I only went for breakfast once. Hotel put my family in an awful block at the back which I asked to move out of. Hotel looks tired except for rooms which feel ok. Odd set up for a room balcony, which in reality is just sliding windows. Hotel lacked atmosphere. Entertainment was lacklustre. I wasn't looking for a 'party hotel' but I didn't want to spend any time there and went as much as possible. This hotel suits retired/elderly clients and those looking for a quiet holiday (in Benidorm!) and needs to emphasise that more.
Far enough from the noise of the British part but close enough to walk anywhere you want to. Hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Only had brekfast and this was the standerd ham, cheese, cake type with a buffet fry up. Fine but boring.
The pool is small and people are up at dawn to bag the limited good spots. Not that it bothered us as we had hang overs. The lifts are small (5 people) and slow, this is the worse feature. If you cannot walk up and down stairs, or dont like waiting for lifts, get a lower floor room. We were on level 9 and walked down every night.
We loved the receptionist guy who was so accommodating when we arrived and who also booked the four of us a night out (great table at the Benidorm Palace!)...he gave us the best welcome which is always a good start when you arrive somewhere which is not familiar. The lady who came to clean our rooms was first class as well - very sweet person who waited for 5 mins one morning while we were getting ready to go out. The pool area, terrace over the sea and evening entertainment are very good.
The food here is not great but I think it would be okay-ish if the restaurant staff were not so rude and surly - they really let the hotel down and clearly are not happy to work here for some reason. We noticed this as we came straight from another hotel where the staff where friendly, fun and especially helpful to the elderly guests. One of our waiters found it amusing to stand with the garbage trolley beside our table to rush us out at 9pm while we were trying to enjoy our dinner - but they all have a bad attitude to be fair.
Lovely hotel and in a prime location. The views from every room of the sea was beautiful. Breakfast was good too.
The lifts were slow and if you were overweight it was embarrassing as you had to get out. People still saved sunbeds altho there were signs not to.
The view. The breakfast. The cleanliness.
The view from the hotel was one of the best. The rooms where cleaned everyday and towels replaced. Read a few reviews regarding the air con bring poor, I found the air con to be very good and very much needed. Lovely staff from the reception to the restaurant.
The towels in the bathroom do not dry anything and the sun does not come round to the pool until at least 12 noon. If you like the beach then this isn't a problem.
Beautiful Views. The higher the better. Location is nice and quiet. Swimming pool and deck area nice. Air Conditioning was a welcome sight.
Breakfast was not at the standard we expected. Be prepared for an uphill walk. Rental Car Users- free parking difficult Yes the lifts are slow at times.
rooms ok aircon took a long time to work but ok in the end friendly staff good for 2 day stay
not enough sun beds quite hilly to get to. Breakfast wasn't brilliant went out 2nd day for it
The friendliness of the restaurant staff who work very hard. The location was perfect for walks along the beachfront, swimming, boat trips and shopping.
The only negative aspect was the rudeness of the "blonde" lady in reception who was not helpful and ignored us.
Cant fault the location, right on the beach, nice clean hotel, very comfortable, with a good pool, under cover, so great for avoiding sunburn. Breakfast was ok plenty to eat, spanish hotels are never that good on british breakfasts. Will stay here again.
I felt the aircon wasnt that good, but as the holiday went on it seemed to imprive, so I guess it was maybe me getting used to the heat. I asked for a sea view, and they gave us a room on the 1st floor, it did have a partial sea view but practically any other room would have a better one, thought that wasnt good. The balcony is covered, this would be great out of season, but boy it got hot in summer.
The view and location were great, the bar staff were friendly and helpful, the pool etc was good and overall we enjoyed our stay
the breakfast was from 08.00 until 10.00,we arrived at 09.30 to find the staff clearing away the breakfast and were not too happy that we came at that time, indeed one lady actually shook her head at a couple who arrived at 09.45. the bedding had a stale smell as i think the top cover hadn,t been changed for a while. The lift facilities were not enough for the amount of people staying in the hotel with only a total of eight people at a time,at any given time.
The location was perfect, overlooking the beautiful sea, a gorgeous evening lounge bar next door and near all the lovely sea front restaurants
The lifts are very slow and only carry 3 or 4 people
superb views; good location, a few steps from levante beach
why oh why do hotels allow people to put towels on sunbeds first thing in the morning and leave them there all day when there are clear 'no reserving sunbed' signs? Not just the Benikaktus
Fantastic location and view from our balcony, and probably from all the balconies such was the layout of the hotel. VERY convenient for the beach and bars/restaurants; just walk out and you are there. We also found it very quiet at night, and this was in July.
Only two lifts, both of which seem slow and tired, sometimes resulting in long waits. Car parking is very tight and leaving the car there was actually a bit of a worry. A bit of a climb up to the hotel if you struggle with such things.
The views from the balcony was breathtaking, nice and close to beach bars and the restaurants.
The food wasn't great, not a great deal to choose from and it wasn't very hot no matter what time you went down for it.
room and bathroom a bit dated
location, just out of the way enough to sleep, but close enough to walk to the centre.
they dont know what an iron is...
Very clean throughout and quiet location
