Room. Very old fashioned, with a single very long pillow for 2 people
our 5th visit - you get what you pay for
couldn't get wifi to work now that we are not given a password
Great hotel, lovely breakfast, staff was very friendly and helpfull, all in all a great experience
The comfort of the beds was a bit disappointing. We travelled with 3 people, and the 3rd person got a small sofa bed, witch was really back breaking.
Very clean hotel,friendly staff,pool bar area,buffet food
Very small elevators
It was impossible to sleep because the noise, loud music in the hallways and balconies were absolutely intolerable ... it lasted between early morning and somebody did not do something well, that noisy young people to behave.
good food, helpful reception staff room was clean and kept clean daily. Spa was a bonus.
Frequently had to go to reception to ask for bar staff
Staff was polite and helpful, room nice and clean, food was good. Very pleasant, clean spa in the hotel. In Calella you can find nice and wide beaches, sea was very clean.
Room was noisy in the night, wooden floors in the rooms and in the corridors aren´t a good choice. Hotel is close to the main street with heavy traffic.
The food was lovely and a great variety every day
The air conditioning was not very powerful sometimes room was warm and it had been on all day
poor sound insulation in rooms
Good value for money
The variety and quality of food for breakfast and evening meal were excellent and staffs attitude was truly superb. If I travel to this part of the country again I would genuinely come here again.
Air con didn't work. I can't get on with one long bolster pillow.
Breakfast was amazing and the staff was very very polite and helpful! Bed was pretty comfortable but I would have preferred the twin beds to not be separated.
The building looked a bit old
The internet was very bad
The staff were really friendly and helpful, the spa is really nice and good value. In terms of architecture the hotel is easily the nicest looking one in the area and the rooms are a good size with a nice balcony. The only downside is that it's not overlooking the beach, but it's 5 minutes walk (if you take it really slowly) from the main beach and about 5 minutes walk from some really nice restaurants.
The breakfast is very random. There is meat, cheese, fruit, continental breakfast and cooked English (which didn't look very appetising), which all sounds good, but the cheese and meat tasted like it had been left out uncovered in the fridge and the placement of food/drinks was just bizarre. For example if you wanted to get a cup of tea you had to walk to the hot water/coffee machine on one wall, then walk across the room to another wall where the tea bags were, then walk across the room again to a different place to get the milk. Similarly butter wasn't with the jams (butter was with the milk, cheese and meat and jams were with the teabags) and neither of them were with the bread. Having said that, once you got used to the "quirks" and got used to just having bread/cereal and tepid tea, and walking a lot to get your breakfast, it was okay.
The Hotel was in a good location and staff were helpful.
The rooms were a good size..but the walls seemed to be paper thin, this lead me to having sleepless nights because of a person who was snoring quite heavy some rooms away..
We stayed one night, very comfortable, friendly and great location.
Located in a good position just minutes from the beach, shops & restaurants but just off the main tourist walkways so very little noise from late night revellers
Although wifi throughout it was a little weak in the room
Location and food
Noise resulted from poor insulation between rooms, bed is not great, no English News channel (only CNBC - business channel) no facial tissues, no waste bin in the main (bed) room.
reception, staff, accomodation
free wifi, location, staff
Very old, bad noise insulation, electric switch where the card must be inserted didn't work so all the electricity in the room was cut after a while, food of low quality in the restaurant and they cook pasta way too long, the tv remote control was not working, they change the towels even when not on the floor (as asked in the bathroom)
Spotlessly clean. The spa was fantastic.
Although wifi was free it seldom if ever seemed to work in the room I was in
the position of the hotel was great and the total of hotel (food ,clea ) excellent. Ihad a great time there and if i go again to this place it would my choice. Thank you very much for the pleasant stay.
Friendly lady at the check in. Wellness.
Old school coffee machine.
Location was good, but was out of season so very quiet.
Horrible hard beds...im pregnant and couldn't sleep, we checked out a day earlier as neither of us could get any sleep.
Very kind staff and good food
