Best Western Hotel Mediterraneo  

The hotel rooms seems to have been renovated and were very nice. The proximity of the airport, beach and restaurant as well as the night life area was really cool.

Great location, only a hundred yards from the excellent beach, three hundred yards from a sailing school with kayak, windsurf and paddlesurf hire, and a ten minute walk from the train station giving quick access to the airport and Barcelona's town centre. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Our room was very comfortable and kept spotlessly clean. The bar and restaurant provided us with two good lunches, and the surrounding area has a large variety of good restaurants. Free wifi, decent TV and great bathroom facilities rounded it all off. I would definitely return and recommend this place for a family beach / city break.

Breakfast was too expensive at 13 Euros each but there are plenty of local places we ate breakfast at, particularly the bakery / coffee shop by the railway station. The pool was freezing, they wouldn't allow my 14 year old son to use the gym and the sauna was out of action, but this did not spoil things for us and the swims we had were certainly refreshing!

Overpriced breakfast concerning both choice and (!) quality. Named to be a 4-star hotel unfortunately didn't match our expectations, so we moved to a cheaper but (as to me) a better one.

The staff was very helpful in making our stay enjoyable. We got good directions and recommendations. The proximity to the beach was very nice. I would stay there again and have already recommended it to family and friends.

I went to Castelldelfels to accompagny my husband while he did a sailing race organized by the Club Nautico across the street from Hotel Mediterraneo. I expected to stay at a convenient location - that's all. I mentioned that I would like a nice view with little noise. I didn't think anyone would even read my request. When I arrived in my room and found a view so beautiful that I didn't need to leave my balcony to find another subject for the watercolor that I had intended to do during my short stay in Spain. The staff was so friendly that I made the comment to my husband that I didn't know how people working in a hotel could maintain such a genuinely considerate, warm and friendly attitude. The dinners were so incredibly good that I didn't look for elsewhere for meals. The location was so close to train service into Barcelona and the center of the little beach town that we didn't even need to use our car once during our stay On my trip home I was trying to think of reasons to return to Castelldefels in the future to renew the pleasant experience.

It was pretty, convenient, clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was great - all for a reasonable price.

Location: 300 ft from the beach, 7 min walk to the train station and the airport was only a 24 euro taxi ride away. Room was always clean and we had fresh towels every day. Near plenty of restaurants and there was also a grocery store close to the hotel. Breakfast was satisfying.
