This central location makes this hotel the ideal setting for a sightseeing tour of the Spanish capital. the hospitality and support of the personnel (receptionists, porters, wiaters) the position, the breakfast

loved the roof balcony we were given with our room on top floor.

price of the breakfast which did not include hot options. hot breakfast was available at extra cost, not value for money.

Yes, but had we known that there was another few Best Western hotels in the vicinity we would have selected the Gran via one.

I emailed to ask if we could have a nice room as we were celebrating our 25-year anniversary. We were given a very nice room on the top floor with a private terrace - too bad it rained the whole time we were there!

Room was clean, staff on reception helpful.

Bedroom was an inside room with ducting outside the window which roared at night, The bath had black mould around the edges and the handle to help you in and out was dangerously loose.When we asked for the butter at breakfast the waiter took the used dish from under the noses of the people on the next table and put it down on ours. We felt that the reception desk did not do justice to the hotel.

Noise at front of hotel is disturbing.at night. Could be improved with double glazing though earplugs worked on second night!

The hotel was comfortable and in a great location. We were able to reach most of the sights on foot. Since the hotel is in a pedestrian area and the Spanish people are night owls, it is quite noisy late at night. The wooden blinds on the windows really did help lessen the noise!

Efficient staff; good breakfast;warm, comfortable & spacious room for 3 people ( we were there in december). Convenient situation in centre - short walk to metro and direct line to railway station.

It was a bit noisy because the deparment storer close by had set up their massive Christmas display, complete with singing mannequins!
