Bar staff were very nice and we enjoyed the rooftop pool.

Front desk staff we dismissive and unhelpful, bar staff were much friendlier and easy to get along with. The hotel is going for a modern feel in the rooms, but nothing is easy to use! and even the shower and the doors are complicated.

Location is perfect. From airport about 10 min, and from Ramblas just 4 stops by metro.

The location was good and the staff was extremely helpful.

The room showed signs of wear...scratched floors, water marks all over the counters, bathroom floor. The shower had good water pressure however, the spray leaked all over the side ledge and spilled over onto the floor - not a good design. Expensive considering the condition of the room. The designer(s) chose form over function for sure.

The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. The staff is very helpfull and courteous. And the view from the rooftp pool is great!

The lighting is very poor, especially in the bathrooms.

Very light and spacious rooms! A few people have complained about traffic noise and while that is true, I sleep with ear plugs in and with the balcony door closed tight I couldn't hear anything. A few friends had a room facing the inner courtyard and it was completely quiet. The pool is fantastic and a great place to relax with sangria and an amazing view. Staff were always very nice and helpful. I didn't have the breakfast so can't report on that, but the sangria is lovely!

The lights/shower/etc were very hard to figure out! Everyone in my group staying at this hotel had problems. There are little cards with instructions on them, but they are not placed very logically (for example, we found instructions for the shower on top of the mini fridge). Also the bathroom does not shut out any noise so there is no privacy!

Everything. Location perfect would highly recommend this hotel.

Good location and nice new deco

When asked for a spoon, the answer was to get one from the 1st floor. I expected to have a spoon delivered to my room shortly but not to have to run down to the 1st floor for a spoon myself.

Good amenities, with a spectacular rooftop swimming pool. Rooms are special and esthetically well designed but lack functionality. 15 min walk from placa Catalunya. Nice bar/lobby & service. Breakfast rates are very reasonable and duration of the breakfast on Sat (till 11) was very convenient. Perfect for young couples to explore the city. Conveniently situated next to metro hub. Nice restaurants in the area.

The commands for light , bathroom are waaaaaay too complicated, we spent 15 min trying to get water running from the shower. We noticed afterwards that a little instruction card was placed next to the bathroom sink. But instructions clearly need to be placed close to the usage spot. Very difficult to keep the bathroom floor from flooding when taking a shower. same for light. To have light in the bathroom one needs to go to the entrance door to activate the light ..?? Clearly a matter of design over functionality. The breakfast although reasonably priced lacked some basics to really be enjoyable. Fresh Bread variation was poor (2 types and only white) , breakfast cereals were limited to basic "kids" corn flakes variations ( no muesli or real cereal). No real side dishes for the scrambled eggs (sausage, bacon).

Simplicity of the room

No door on the toilet room, it had been removed. Business center computers didn't work. Noisy construction work. Charged me to change reservation and I was traveling on Delta non-reservation airline pass.

Friendly staff, clean boutique style hotel. Close to Aerobus stops. 30 mins walk to La Rambla, seafront; etc.

Of course it is not the best hotel in the world. But according to standard of 3starts hotels and the price. This hotel is wonderful. Wonderful pool and spectacular view of the top stairs and the place of espanyn. Comfortable room and bed gave us a great time there. And the room is huge and beautiful. Staffs in the reception are really kind. Great place.

The location is great with immediate Metro access to all of central Barcelona. The Plaza Espanya area is much more up-scale than La Rambla. The rooms are very large and comfortable (especially by European standards) and the bar and breakfast are very good.

The designer shower looks nice but the water from the shower head runs onto the floor unless you put a towel down on the bathtub ledge.

It is very convenient, easy to fine and on the route for the city tourist bus.

The breakfast was expensive. We didn't find out until the last day that you got it cheaper if you booked at reception.

Spacious, airy room that was really quiet - I slept extremely well every night. The location was perfect - one stop on the airport bus, right in the centre of the city with wonderful sites to visit in easy walking distance. The room was very clean and was kept well serviced. I was extremely happy with the hotel.

Realized this time the room,too big to sleep simply wirhout using hotel facilities,is useless to me.. I'm afraid this kinds of design hotel(dry gray impression) is not my style...One more thing ,street noises.

Over priced breakfast and poor choice of TV channels

Very sharp design in the rooms and great location 50 yards from the Plaza Espanya Metro station.

Desk chair could be a little more comfortable for long work sessions. A coffee maker in the room would be welcome too.

The room was extremely romantic with the see through bathroom screen. we really enjoyed our stay. We asked the staff several questions regarding tourist attractions and they were extremely helpful.

We ordered a double room but for two single beds joined together, on the second night after a few phone calls the staff gave us a double sheet and duvet which was way better.

Very noce hotel with an excellent breakfast.
