Value for money. The price I paid for this 6 bed female dorm is even more expensive than that of a single bed with toilet and bath (and TV) that I reserved at another city.
Cleanliness and comfort. Although the toilet and bath looks new, they smell a little. (at times a lot). Maybe they need to constantly check and clean this part of the hostel. I think some rooms used to be offices converted into rooms. Instead of a solid wall, the room where I stayed had glass window from inside with blinds (along the corridor). Even if the door is closed, light from the corridor still enters the room. Also there was no heater, so the room was a bit cold. There was an aircon but we cannot find the remote control.
Location. It's near Casco Viejo and Renfe/Bilba Train station. There were also a few good restaurants nearby where pinxtos are available at 1euro.
Staff are really friendly, considerate and helpful. They allowed me to print some documents for free. When they knew that I will be leaving the following morning, they said I can still have breakfast even before the usual window period. One of them woke up early and made everything available (brewed coffee, toast, marmalade, milk)
Safety. There was no key given for the room, although you can lock it from within. There were also lockers provided but you should bring your own padlock.
Breakfast. Super OK!
