Great central location Friendly staff

The location in the very middle of the old town , walking distance to the "new town" and Guggenheim Museum. Rooms clean, we didn't have the breakfast, there is a lot of bars and restaurants around, so we ate outside.There are electric heaters in the rooms and it is really a good idea, even in May (but they say this year with such a cold spring has been exceptional).

There was everything ok, exept of the noise from the street, but what you can expect spending nigth in the middle of the old town in Saturday night? that definitely is not the hotel fault.

Great location in the old part of town and still not too far to walk to the Guggenheim along the river. Variety of tapas bars nearby if that appeals, especially in the square area.

Not great value for money but maybe Bilbao is just expensive.

Nothing, it was as good as I'd hoped it would be

Location was great, right in the old town, with lots of restaurants, cafes nearby. Good value-for-money.

Bathroom was a quite old and shower did not work properly, time for some renovation!

Location in historic section. Spotlessly clean. Modern. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Nice welcome. Young man at desk on departure helped us obtain an umbrella as it was raining hard, and helped us located our car parked out of town. Adequate breakfast, friendly, attentiive staff; easy to relate to other guests. Good value for Bilbao. This was a rare mediium priced hotel that offered breakfast at a reasonable price.

Suggest for breakfast that hotel add hard boiled eggs as travelers could use some protein, in addition to the ham and chorizzo slices. Also, substitute squares of real local cheese instead of oily processed white cheese slices, in plastic. Olives should be added in a country with an abundance of olives. Walls in room lacked pictures.

Location was excellent. It was very clean.

Breakfast was very basic. The clean up process of dishes was incredibly loud and disturbing. Dishes and silverware were clinked together so loudly that one had to stop mid sentence and wait. This happened each and every time dishes were delivered or taken away. There was a total disregard for the comfort of the guests sitting in the dining room.

The hotel was in the middle of the old town and sites were easily accessible by foot. Good restaurants were within steps, literally! Also about a 10 minute walk along the river to the Guggenheim.

Being in the old town is the good news and the bad news! If coming by car, this place will be hard to reach, being in a warren of old, narrow, and interesting winding streets.

It was right in the middle of the old town, very close to public transport and some tourist sights.

It wasn't very comfortable - I had to share a bed with my friend and even the pillow and the blanket! The facilities are not luxury, it looks a bit more like a hostel but it's still good for a short trip. All the channels on the tv are only Spanish.

We were able to change rooms after suffering some claustrophobia in small room with a window located on an air shaft.

I liked its central location and safety features and the room safe. Plus my room was quiet and with a view of a small courtyard and the back of the library. Also it is very close to the train station.
