It was a short walk to the tram line which is easy to get around Bilbao on, and it's close to the medieval village and restaurants. The area it is situated in is not to nice and is very noisy at night definitely take ear plugs and an eye mask as the curtain does not block out the nights lights

The location was excellent quite close to the casco viejo although close to a dodgy area the staff was not so friendly. the room was too noisy, it was possible to hear the flush from the bathrooms of the upstair floor.

I was on a non-smoking floor but the whole hallway was full of smoke. I reported it to the front desk and they basically said, Oh well, they need to be told. It continued although it is a violation of the law. The hotel is in a seedy area. There is no parking in the street and to park in the paid garage is very inconvenient in terms of access and the fact that one had to get the remote then return it to the front desk each time one wants to go in or out.

The staff were friendly, the room had a lovely view of the city and it wasn't too far from the old town. The bed was so uncomfortable that I couldn't sleep, the decor was poor, walls were paper thin, I found a clump of blonde hair in my bed and a brown stain on the spare blanket and finally the wifi didn't work unless I was in the sitting room downstairs.

Staff very helpful to who were obviously strangers to the city. The hotels own parking was good and secure. Google maps and others did not locate the hotel very well. It took a lot of searching to find the place.

Clean, quiet and correct with excellent reception. Close enough to the end station of the tram line that all of Bilbao's sites can easily be seen. Excellent value for the money, probably because the property is now in the refugee section of the city. I felt safe in the neighborhood and was delighted with the array of ethgnic shops and restaruants nearby.

Great location, friendly staff, good price for quality. I recommend it! We had a problem in our bathroom. But as soon as we complained we were given another room, so that was good. Too dark corridors.

A very basic hotel. Complete value for money. Location is in a bit of a shady area but nothing unsafe. Clean tidy rooms. Staff had a little trouble with English but more than compensated it with their always being ready to help. It took us about 15 mins to reach the hotel walking from Estacion de Autobuses (through a seemingly unfavourable area). Even the floor lighting in hotel's corridors looked really creepy. However, the hotel seemed really safe and the staff was helpful too. The man at the reception took special care to warn us about the areas where we should not venture out, especially after dark. The hotel is very close to the old town, the high street/shopping district (10 min walk) and 15 min walk from the Guggenheim Museum. Location was a bit odd. Definitely need to change the lighting scheme of their corridors. The moment i entered the corridors to get to my room for the first time, first thing that came to my mind was if i had made a mistake booking this hotel. However, the felling was truly unfounded.

This is a very good option for everyone looking for cheap acommodation in Bilbao. The hotel is surprisingly well kept, comfortable and in a good spot between the old town and current center of the city - short walk to all major locations. Wifi, heating, room service are all running smoothly. As mentioned in other reviews, the neighbourhood is "dodgy", but I must say the hookers are not too insisting and reasonably priced, All in all - great choice for a short stay. Be warned that not all rooms have wardrobes.

The price was right and the location to the "old" city was very fine. We did not have enough time to enjoy the "old" city, but it's worth walking to and through. Accommodations were adequate, though it appeared that the hotel had been, and was gradually being refurbished. For tired travelers, no problem whatsoever. On the "old city" side of the river, there is a new train and a set of buses that would enable adventurous folks to get around the new city conveniently, Again, didn't have time enough to study, plan or use those. The person who received us at the desk worked afternoon and late shift. A terrific receptionist and fun guy to talk with. The hotel lies just outside a pretty rough neighborhood, at least according to the taxi driver who drove through it and warned about drifting too close. We aren't night owls, so we had no trouble. And day- time wandering in the opposite direction seemed quite safe, even welcoming and friendly. A bit hilly to get to/fro the "old city," but do-able. Probably not ideal for someone who is not used to walking much.

The room was incredibly clean and the bathroom seemed recently renovated. Wi-fi was superb - a fast and secure connection which never dropped. Price was good. Location OK - close to a dodgy area but to head to the Old Town you go in the opposite direction. Close to a dodgy area!

I loved their soft bed sheets. The staff was always nice, kind and helpful. The hotel is 5 min or less walking to the main market, and the historic city where the restaurants and bars are almost always crowded. There is a street very close to the hotel where hookers are on the street waiting for their customers. They didn't disturb us 2 women and a man. But you don't have to pass through that street, so if you feel disturbed by their existence you can avoid them.

Well priced, clean quiet rooms. Helpful staff. Location is in a slightly rundown area, approach from across the river rather than down street from midtown to avoid some dodgy establishments. Nevertheless if you are looking for good value for money this hotel provides it.

The staff is very welcome, speaks good English and the place isn’t far from center (just across the river). It’s possible to park a car for free in the area (which is charming and full of best examples of modern architecture). Bilbi hotel was nice but costs a little more it deserves. Also our room was not cleaned (isn’t that what we pay for staying in the hotels?). Than, we didn't get any excuse for that, no one just felt sorry.
