Small and family run hotell.
Most rooms with balcony, incl our room, have a very, very small balcony.
bar open to 24:00 secluded pool shaded terrasses view
walk to city centre is somewhat lengthy
Never choose this family owned hotel, if you come as a family. Kids are not welcome! We all felt very unwelcome there. I was booking five months ahead, and I wish they had told me that this was not a hotel for families and had given me some other recommendations instead. As beautiful and fantastic Cadaques was, as awful it was to stay at Hotel Blaumar. My worst choice ever.
We could not sleep for two nights as our window was right on the street with bikes and people talking loud. Also, the room is a little small and the zircon was not good... for the 110 EUR/night...
lovely peaceful evening watching the sunset by the pool
we would go for a room with a balcony next time
Everything. Delightful location, comfortable beds, good breakfast and helpful staff. Didn't want to leave.
Nice comfortable aptm staff friendly, central location.
No wifi working in our room
The location was excellent, close to the centre of Cadaques but in a quiet street. The views from our room were beautiful. The hotel was spotless throughout. Highly recommend
We could see no evidence of air conditioning in the room. If none it may be uncomfortable during the heat in July/August
Great view from the room to the town of Cadaques; room was clean and extra bed was very comfortable, although very close to town absolutely quiet and wake up to bird's singing was great; whole family enjoyed the stay very much
Breakfast is not served until at least 8:30 a.m. - decided to have breakfast therefore in town; also the reception is not occupied in the morning, which means we could not even formally check-out; just had to leave the keys in the room
Everything! When you see 2 star you think the worse - this wonderful spot excelled in every way. Spotless, friendly, beautifully kept. We will be back.
That we had to leave!
Great value breakfast
View, silence, breakfast, coasy,
Pretty hotel and very clean and a short walk into the centre
Friendly, family-run hotel just a short walk from the centre of the resort. Standard of hotel is far better than many so-called 3 and 4 star hotels I have stayed in - assume it only gets 2 stars as there is no restaurant. Staff always willing to help, offer advice.
Clean, comfortable room with nice decor; excellent bathroom; quiet location but walking distance to everything.
Lovely, clean, friendly, nice view, great value, quiet
shower was low and hard to use for a taller person
Locations and views were great!!
Nothing! It was great!
excellent and accommodating staff
Great friendly staff, very nice and clean, excellent facilities, good variety for breakfast. Beautiful location, what more could you ask for.
I began to wonder, having read other reviews of this hotel, whether we had come to the same place! The room was small and only adequately furnished. The 'balcony' only had room for one [small] chair. There was no mini bar or fridge. The bed was, as usual, hard, but the worst thing of all was that the AC was turned off for the winter (in the middle of September, with OAT in the mid-20s and high humidity) which gave two 'sweaty' nights). The bathroom was small, so in order to dry oneself, one had to step outside. The mirror was too far away and the selection of toiletries poor. What was worst of all, was that there was no handle to assist old duffers to step into and out of the [over-bath] shower - someone will fall and break a leg. Everything was 'extra' - car parking, breakfast, and even if you brought your own baby cot that was €10 extra.
Very clean, nice and quite area, yet 5 minutes walk to the centre of town. Good sized room, relatively large.
First time I asked for an iron they said they only had the industrial one, but hours later I asked to another receptionist he fetched one. At first I thought "how could they not have one iron in the hotel..."
Nearly all (see across)
The one bad point was the lack of a taxi service in the town. There are two golf buggy type vehicles, but they only start their service at 9.30 am, so I had to walk from the hotel to the bus station with a heavyish case to catch the 8.30 bus to Figueres. At least it wasn't raining!
The hotel is well-situated and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The garden area is lovely and the view lets you imagine that you are almost in the mountains
The pool is smaller than the photos suggest. The rooms on the side closest to the entrance can be a bit noisy at night as there is a park opposite, but that was not every night
no kettle in room
The owners of the hotel were really helpful, the hotel was nicely located with a view of the small town and the sea. Comfortable and spacious room with a balcony overlooking the pool. Bikes and motorbikes for rent a big +
