Relaxed bar area Pool Rooms and sea view
For wanting to relax, this hotel offered us everything we wanted! A good bed, a pool with nice beds alongside it, a fine restaurant and a lounging atmosphere. We really felt like we rested after our week of staying at the Buenavista. The hotel is quiet yet cozy and beautifully located on a hill with seaview. We would definitely recommend the Buenavista if you want to chill and lounge.
The breakfast is fine, though for a week of staying there it wasn't really variated enough.
Fabulous traditional hotel with a great boutique Ibiza feel. It's not really a hotel I would recommend for children, it's better for adults due to the chilled vibe. Sun beds around the pool are great as are the chill out sofas around the grounds. There are lots of steps to conquer so make sure you have good mobility! That being said it is definitely worth the climb.
friendly staff - good location - relaxed atmosphere - excellent breakfast
the room and bathroom were not very clean
The Chill out garden, restaurant and pool area are absolutely beautiful and rooms are nice too. All and all it's good value for money.
Food is average and there were bedbugs in the bed, i got bitten
Great private balcony Excellent views Good location although many steep steps Very Bohemian feel to the place Without doubt very tranquil and relaxing Something very different to the usual style of hotel
No fridge but garage across road so cold drink are within walking distance Breakfast was limited but nevertheless more than adequate.
Right in the centre of the town but complete peace and quiet. I hope I get to stay again soon.
Pool area, cleanliness, brekfast.
Water pressure, poor wifi signal.
GREAT PLACE IN MODERN SPANISH STYLE. A HOTEL WITH HISTORY.
51 STAIRS ;-)
The Buenavista has a great location in santa eularia and is a hidden gem. White muslin, chilled out sofas and bar/restaurant, lovely pool area with beds and cushions, food great, rooms traditionally Spanish, the manager was very helpful in changing aspects of our booking and accommodating us on different dates. We have been to the Buenavista for the last 3 years and love it,
The styling of this hotel is beautiful, lovely old tasteful furniture with an ethnic twist. Gardens and outdoor restaurant areas are very magical and very laid back. Fabulous place to relax. The pool was perfect for our needs, it is however very deep and therefore probably not suitable for those with young children. The hotel is situated a couple of minutes walk from the sea front and the bus station making it very accessible to the rest of the island. Defiantly recommend this hotel.
View from the balcony in the room we stayed in Free parking in the area
No minibar to keep drinks or water cold, breakfast not the best, cheap quality of food Broken furniture
- friendly staff - Good location in Santa Eulalia - Nice bar and restaurant - Clean
- The pillows could be better
The pool and terrace area are lovely. The setting outside makes one feel that you are staying in your own villa.
I stayed in a standard room however at night smelled of dust, no pressure in the taps in bathroom with water intermittently. They rectified the dust smell by pouring a strong chemical cleaner in the corners of the room. This merely masked the problem so I then breathed in chemical cleaning smells. Further they offered me a different room but in this room the doors to the balcony wouldn't close properly meaning mosquitos at night. Further the staff were quite indifferent to any concerns raised. I think one's experience at Buenavista Suites is very much dependent on which room you are in as from speaking to other guests they did not have these problems.
It is perfect, so beautiful so relaxing
Unfortunately, One guy told us on Wednesday that there is no hippy market on Wednesdays which is why we missed it! Very disappointing. For the rest, the Hotel is absolutely perfect. But don't expect sightseeing Information from the reception :-/
A very cozy, stylish and beautiful hotel - close to the beach and to the city centre. Good breakfast, restaurant. Buddha style and massage are available :) good breakfast!
Ask room upgrade, standart rooms are too small and noizy. Bad Wi Fi in rooms
The staff were really friendly and helpful; our rooms had lovely, private terraces, and sea, and garden, views. Great view from the pool, which was a good size, and really clean, with lots of comfortable loungers. Lovely area to sit out and eat, or have drinks. Really good food in the evening (especially a delicious paella). Lunches fine, but not as good as the dinners. Great location, very close to the sea. Nice beach, and lots of places to eat/have drinks by the water. Although the hotel was apparently full, it was very peaceful at all times, and we had a wonderful and very relaxing stay. Only 25 mins from the airport/Ibiza Old Town/clubs (I didn't try these, but the kids had a great night out!), all of which can be reached by bus or taxi, both readily available 5 mins from the hotel. Read in a previous review a concern about the honesty of the staff. Think that's nonsense, and wouldn't pay any attention to it - I'm sure they are all completely honest. Also someone complaining about the staff's lack of English - again, that wasn't a problem at all. They all spoke enough English, and some very well. All my (teenage) kids loved it, and we would all definitely go back!
I really loved my room (double with sea view and terrace), but was on my own. I thought we had booked rooms with two single beds (hazard of booking on line), but they in fact had one, not very large, double bed, so not a problem for me, but the kids had to share. The bottom sheets weren't big enough, and came off in the night, even with just one person in the bed, so more of a problem with two. Also, no door to the bathrooms, so not ideal for two people (although maybe other people wouldn't mind that!). The room was very clean, but did smell very musty when we arrived. It was fine once I left the windows open for a while, but think it would be good to air the rooms more between stays.
Clean Accomodation Helpful friendly staff Great location in Santa Eulalia
The restaurant The pool area All the outside was beautiful The restaurant / bar staff were excellent.
The wifi was unreliable. The room was 'ok' and speaking with other guests it seems the rooms and views are a lot better in some then others.
We booked a superior double for a long weekend getaway and were not disappointed. The room was well decorated and comfortable and the view was fantastic view from our private (not overlooked) balcony. You could barely hear the noise from the town despite being able to walk to the beach within 10 mins. Incredibly relaxing, would definitely go back again.
Beautiful building. The best feature is the outdoor space. The pool area is fantastic and the outside garden/restaurant is fantastic, pictures do not do it justice. The food is also gorgeous and great value for money.
WI Fi only seemed to work in the hotel reception was a bit annoying. Only other negative was that there was only 1 plug socket in the room.
Ambience of garden location and setting. The food was first class as was the service, so handy to use the pool after a meal and chill out on the loungers. The manager running the hotel was so helpful when asked for anything
Stairs to all apartments/rooms. In an upgrade double rooms there are 43 steps from reception. All thee steps are rustic stone murder trying to take a suitcase up. Breakfast very basic continental. for our early morning check out the manager said just go into the dining room and help yourself to coffee and toast etc. However on entering at 6 30am we were shown the door by this old battleaxe who said we are not coming in her dining room until 8 00pm when we had to be at the airport. The bedroom even in the deluxe version is small but quaint Spanish style, the bathroom has a linen curtain over it separating it from the bedroom, not very private. People do need to be aware of all the stairs to rooms, its great for exercise, but I am not sure their website says just how much of a strain it might be for some if they are not aware. Bit that said its a great place to chill out for a few days.
Beautiful location, friendly staff and good wifi connection.
Small room and not so clean, no variation in breakfast.
Wifi was supposed to be available but it was not. When mentioned to the staff they didnt do anything or give a dicount. Many things were broken in the room and toilet paper was missing. The staff was extremely unpolite and not helpful
