We visited in May 2013. The other reviews seem very accurate. It was unusually cold when we were there with 10 cms of snow in the mountains. The hotel was warm with a lovely fire in the lounge. There was a very good breakfast. It is a peaceful location and we enjoyed 4 good days walking. Torla has good choice is restaurants. The food in the hotel was good but we ate out for variety. The staff were kind helpful and friendly. We booked a room with a balcony which had great views. The hotel is very popular with walkers and the location is excellent.

A friendly, well run hotel. Service at reception and in the dining room was spot on. Room was very comfortable with a superb view from the balcony.

I left my jumper on the bus in Sabinanigo and the owner of the hotel phoned the bus company on my behalf and arranged for the bus driver to bring it to Torla for me. The owner upgraded my room to one with a balcony and did not charge me extra for this. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Hotel is outstandingly clean- every surface shone. Rooms well furnished. Lovely views from balcony and rooms facing the road (which is very quiet particularly at night). Nice touch free toiletries were replaced with extra on second day, rare even at much higher starred hotels. Mid week in November there were very few restaurants open in Torla so we ate both nights in the hotel dining room- 16 euros for 3 course menu with 4 choice options on each course. Good wine at reasonable prices- we noticed most people took the house wine at 5euro /bottle, but if you paid 10euros/bottle there were a number of interesting regional wines ,the ones we tried were very good. Good choice at breakfast with freshly cooked pastries each morning. Real fire in guest lounge. Probably the best 2 star hotel we have stayed in. Free parking outside but not enough for every room, not a problem in November, could be in season.

Only small niggle was at dinner both nights freezing cold plates used to serve hot food on.

Everything - we atyed out of season in October when it was quiet and the staff couldn't do enough for us.

Very comfortable hotel in a great area of Spain.

Our first Hotel in Spain after travelling down through France, what a little jem in a fantastic setting on the edge of the Odesa National Park. The staff were excellent couldn't do enough for us. We ate in the restuarant on one of the evenings that we stayed the menue was well presented and fully explaned by the staff the food was excellent. Breakfast was good. The bedroom was spacious, clean, modern with a balcony and superb views of the mountains. This Hotel is rated as a 2 star in our opinion it deserves to be 4 star

Very helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable, firm bed. Excellent value for money. Excellent kitchen - extensive buffet breakfast and tasty dinner with plenty of choice.

Good location close to the bus stop for going into the Ordesa National Park or for walking into the village There’s balcony with a table and two chairs over viewing the mountains and free Wi-Fi in the rooms. The restaurant serve tasty dinner with three courses for only €16. The parking is free near the hotel. Nice and friendly family staff

No air conditioning during our stay, but we had luck and it wasn't really needed

Very good value for money. Nice room, very clean and English speaking staff (sort of English). Best part was dinner - excellent meal, good choice and very good value. It was a very good meal in any standard . By the way, we left behind a very valuable piece of jewelry we lost in the room. We called from the mountains, the hosts searched the room, found the item and kept it safe for us for a day untill we came to collect. Good people.

We stayed here for three nights in August. It is rated two star but the facilities match some four star establishments. The hotel was built in 1969, but has recently been refurbished, and everything is pristine, from the Grohe taps and showerheads, to the furniture. The towels are thick and the water pressure good.The breakfast buffet is better than most hotels, with excellent pastries, drinkable coffee, fresh fruit, jamon, chorizo and cheese. The only cooked element is scrambled egg. Dinner was only €16, and for that you got three courses, with a choice of fish and meat as mains, all pretty good, plus an amuse bouche. The house wine at €5 is a bargain, and we didn’t see any point in switching. There is a bar, a wide terrace looking across the road to the mountains, and pleasant communal areas. There is free off-street parking (rare in Torla) and free wi-fi in the rooms. The staff are friendly and very helpful. When I got sick one evening, they phoned the doctor in the next town and one of them accompanied us at 10pm even though she had to start work early the next morning. I booked online through Booking.Com, €140 for two nights. Room tip: we were assigned room 102. It’s actually a suite with a double bed in one room, and two singles in the other (and it has its own desk and TV). The bathroom has a bath and a shower, and two basins. There’s balcony with a table and two chairs looking out to the mountains. It would be ideal for a family, but it was very nice for the two of us being able to spread out.

This was an excellent hotel and the staff were very friendly. Our room was a two bedroom suite with balcony although we only used one room and the bathroom was exceptional with bath, shower, b-day and double sinks. Breakfast was good too. The hotel is situated near the bus station for catching the bus to the Ordessa National Park for walking or for walking into the village for a meal.

Air conditioning was not switched on during our stay but it wasn't really needed.

Friendly staff and great view of the mountains from the balcony. Meals in the hotel dining room were inexpensive and good quality. Good location at edge of town and the hotel has its own parking.

There is some road noise during the day, but it quiets down at night and was not a problem.

Everything was great: the location, the room, the shower, the staff, the small balcony in the room with the mountains view. Highly recommended.
