TerribLe! The air conditioning was a joke! We stayed there in mid-July, so the room was hot and stuffy despite the so-called air conditioning being turned on. No use opening the window, either. Bus c53 to and from el campello beach every hour for €1.50...
Bus c53 to and from el campello beach every hour for €1.50 is great service. If looking for holiday experience it's a bit lacking in San juan and surrounding areas it's mostly Spanish people on holidays and city life but it was nice just not your typical holiday. Good for shopping and beach is lovely. Trip to tabarca island is a must only €28 return and it's a lovely day out. Loads of places to eat and drink on island and can walk right around it and it's just beautiful. Try Restaurante La Perdiz in Salvador Montesinos 21 it's got fantastic food and offers u will not beat anywhere else €11 for 3 course meal with a drink of choice. ( mine was half a bottle of wine ) delightful place and people.AnneIreland - 10Scored 10

There are so much to do. Perfect for kids. Friendly people. Lovely beach. Different kind of areas to visit. Great weather in july. Yummy food, nice prices. Carfree areas for the kids to play. Great supermarkets around if you dont want to go to restaurant. Love Alicante ! I dont know where i am right now but i live at a street called Calle iris and Thats really a cute area, close to beach . We had awesome tapas at cerveceria Sento and here is a free family park where you pay maximal 2 euros for a ride.JacquelineSweden

A café in front where we had tasty Spanish breakfast. The nearby beach is about 2km and we walked there by the narrow road which starts next to the hotel at the roundabout. The road was illuminated, so no problem to return at night.
