Bungalows Las Gaviotas  

The bungalow was clean, well equipped and well serviced giving excellent value for money. The Las Gaviotas complex and pool area is clean and well maintained and conveniently situated near to the local shopping centre which has a varied selection of shops, bars and restaurants which are all very well priced, also the bus route to explore all of the island is only a 10 minute walk away. We had an excellent stay.

The Nautilus Bungalows nearby are undergoing redevelopment with the workmen working 6 days a week from 8am until 4pm which was noisy and we found ourselves staying out during these hours and only returning to our bungalow after 4pm. Because of this we feel as though we have not enjoyed the use of our bungalow as much as we would have liked although we do appreciate that this is out of control of Las Gaviotas.

Value for money and location was excellent. It was very peaceful and quiet which suited after a hectic year at home. Kitchen facilities were excellent and back yard with line was very accomodating.

I love staying at the Las Gaviotas Bungalows - we stay every year in April - its really really nice & clean & close to the beach, the main strip & the taxi ranks.

It was a few days in before our towels & beds were changed. TV was not working for one of the days.

We only stayed 2 days but our in laws stay there all the time. We were upgraded to a refurbished room for 10€ a night . which was nice , but the downside on that was the tv it only had 2 english channels and the picture was very poor .we didnt use the pools as it was too windy but they seemed warm enough to touch...all in all a very good budget hotel

The downside to the room was evan though they were refurbished the bedsand pillows were awfull , they were so bad neither me nor my wife really got any sleep..also the doors were ill fitting so on a windy day like we had it was blowing a gale through the apartment plus the doors kept rattling , enough to keep waking my 3 year old daughter up ...address these problems and it would be a perfect budget beach resort

The location is ideal especially when u have young children. Also the fact that they are all ground floor makes it much easlier with young children and buggys. Because there are a number of pools the pool at our aprtment was always really quiet in fact we had it to ourselves most days.

Situated in a nice quiet place and during December, while we were there, we noticed most of the people we met were elderly. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms spacious. We asked for a sea view if possible and they gave us one.. Just a distance sea view, but then it was our first time to stay with them.

Our main dislike was the fact the Bungalows claim to have WiFi and during my stay, I was unable to get it on my iPad. The young girl at the reception area, was very helpful each time I approached her and managed to get it on my iPad in her little office, but as soon as she gave me the iPad, the WiFI shut down ? And that was in the reception area..! As we were supposed to get it in our bungalows also, I tried it there continuously, but no luck.. The staff told me they reported the problem.. But it still did not work for me. My friend who accompanied me, had his laptop with him and he was also unable to get the WiFi on that. However they allowed him to connect to their Internet. And in that way we were able to keep in touch with our emails.

Absolutely nothing. It was appalling.

The staff were extremely rude. They tried to make us pay an extra 20 Euros a night. The apartment was dirty, unsafe & uncomfortable. There was no privacy. The whole place should be bulldozed.

Lovely location near the beach and good value for money very peacefull and relaxing at this time of the year (Nov) go for superior bungalows

Twin beds could be more comfortable wish the pool bar in block 2 had been open (closed for winter)

As always with our stays we were given exactly what we asked for and had a fantastic stay..the staff are excellent and very friendly and will do what they can to help.

Great buffet! The food tasted good most times, only occasionally had something I didn't enjoy. Good deal for the money.

Cleaning lady only came once, beds could have been made daily

Close to Beach and Centre, friendly staff, clean. Very good for 2 star.

Bungalow could do with some repair work as some item I.E. doors locks, shower, ect. Getting a bit worn and sticky. Wi Fi not working for most of stay, but repaired quickly when complained.

Have stayed at this complex before and found the location is fantastic, a very short walk to the beachfront .Nice amenities and eating places a short stroll away. If it is a quiet relaxing holiday spot that you are looking for then give this complex serious consideration. The price is great as well and the friendly staff it seems cannot do enough for the guests. It deserves to be rated more highly than the meanie that only awarded it 2 stars

My only complaint about this hotel is having to leave at the end of the holiday
