The interior decor of a typical Palma building
No staff to deal with situations. Using fax machine to send personal details. Expensive
My room was great value for money to begin with, and I was even more surprised to find stairs leading to a private roof garden. I just loved the place. There are plenty of nice bars and cafe's close by.
I can't say anything about the staff, because I never met anyone. You enter the hotel using an intercom system, and your check in is done using a phone in the main reception area.
Traditional Mallorcan house, excellent location
No contact with staff was a bit unusual
Location, location, location. I saw double bedroom (picture) and if does look great.
Rubber sheet on the mattress was particularly annoying. In single room, there was no space for my suitcase.
bathroom in the room
No personal on site
Prefect location, nice bathroom and responded really quickly to any enquiries.
Bed was VERY squeaky, and the toilet doesn't leave much for privacy with the room.
Close to historical city centre...great location and value for money...
Not close to beach..but my fault as I should have done research on the location before booking..and no intrenet and only one English speaking TV channels cnn.. Besides this it was great to stay here..no staff so make sure to arrange a taxi to take back to the airport..otherwise you will have stand on the Street waiting for one...
No reception and no lifts
far too expensive!!! you wake up at every turn you make in the bed due to its noise No lamps in function at the terrace
It's the perfect base for a stay in central Palma with everything you need. We had a large double room with a rooftop terrace - must be their best one.
The complete absence of staff is odd but it works. The bathroom is in need of upgrade but everything else was in a good state.
The central perfect location. The code system was strange at first, then fun and perfectly working. You don't see anyone. Everything is organized with messages, letters and so on and you feel a bit like James Bond! Is old style but clean, cozy and have everyhing you need. Difficult to park the car during the day, but easy and free at night. I got the best deal! I was very happy there and i loved the bath in the room...
From room 21 you can hear the noise of the flush and the water of the other floors...
This hotel should only be advertised for 3 day city breaks, as if - like us - you have a fortnites luggage for 2 people, getting luggage up and down those stairs is a bit of a pig. A kettle would have been a nice feature. But - perfect location.
Very interesting & quirky place
Very overpriced considering the room and facilities.
Very central location.
It was very noisy due to some neighbours. Obviously one room was used for 'professional' activities. Wooden beds on stone floor brings the noise all around the house.
A fantastic location, in the centre of Palma, and so cheap!
Nobody on the hotel ...
Style old Spanish
Not enough hot water Very DIY Location map not adequate
I liked the building
The fact there is no receptionist, which you are not warned about. There is an envelope in your name asking you to complete your credit card details on a piece of paper. This is then supposed to be put in a box, which would be a burglar's picnic. This comes across as very unwelcoming and lazy. Makes you feel like you are staying in a vending machine. If you have problems with your code and need to repeat it, anyone walking by can hear. This is a security risk, as there are no keys and the code is the same outdoors as it is for a guest's bedroom. The switch for opening the door to get out of the building is electric, and can fail. This is very worrying in the situation of a possible fire. When you come in late from your flight, the last thing you think of is how to get out. This should be drawn attention to much more clearly. This is not a system used all over Europe. I was looking forward to a relaxing Jacuzzi , but it didn't work . Not really going to get on the loudspeaker again , as had already done that, and got a sharp response to my questioning the full price of my room. I later was told I had already been charged, which raises the question of why I was asked to complete all my credit card details on a form that was later going to be submitted to the management. From the outside of the building, it was not clear this was a hotel in the dark...just a small TT sign. The taxi driver was bemused and hadn't heard of the building. We drove past 3 times until we realised it was some sort of hostel/hotel.
Clean room, cosy and nice bathroom with bubble bath, nice furniture in mallorcan style
The one person room is a bit small for the price..
It was a total disaster. Dirty, not comfortable, smelly, with mushroom on the walls, hard bed, thin walls, smelly dirty AC, dirty old bathtub in the room in front of the bed. Total disaster. Please stay away of this place, it made me cry to tears when I entered the room :(
Great location, clean facilities and friendly staff
Brilliant Location (for city centre and for railway to Soller). Superb value for money. Interesting building, layout and mode of operation (we didn't meet any of the staff but we were expected (which was welcoming late at night when we arrived)). There was cold beer in the fridge (pay via the honesty box) and we could have had tea, coffee etc. Comfy bed, aircon etc. Perfect.
