I liked the location and friendly staff. Apartment was quite comfortable and well located. The bed was too narrow for 2 normal size persons.

Juan is a great host, and very keen to help where he can. Apartments very much as expected and represent great value for money for those looking to have the flexibility of self catering while being located right in the centre of things.

Excellent location! Very close to main places of interest, 2 min to Gran via with all it's shops, cafes and bars, not far from Plaza Sibelis and Plaza Espana, you don't need to use any transport, except your feet) there is very good supermarket near apartments (at El Corte Ingles)! There wasn't noisy, in spite of central location! Apartments are very cosy and have all necessary things like iron, microwave, A/C (in each room), coffee maker, washing machine etc. We booked apts for 4 adults - there was enough space for all of us. At this apartment you can feel yourself as you are at home! Adittional sofa (in apts for 4 adults) is not comfortable enough for sleeping. There are no english-speaking personnel, but it is not a problem at all.

The location is perfect...right in the center of everything! Our flight came in early in the morning and Juan was very accommodating and allowed us to check in early. The apartment was well equipped and extremely clean. The "cleaners" did not clean and only replaced our towels...never changed linens or anything. The street, while not a main thoroughfare, was very loud at night and earplugs really helped.

Juan was very helpful & welcoming, both before and during the visit. The studio appartment was well equipped, spotlessly clean & excellent value for money right in the centre of Madrid and 1 minute from the 'Gran Via' metro station. Juan recommended the restaurants in the same street and the food was great and very reasonably priced with mainly Spanish people eating there. I would definitely recommend this appartment. Muchos gracias Juan. The bed was a bit soft and there was only 1 individual pillow with one big long pillow as well.

You really feel welcome when you arrive. The apartment is in an ideal location for the visit of Madrid's historic centre. The facilities are just right for a short stay. Definitely to be recommended. Only a small thing: there should be more pillows on the bed.

Excellent location in the very center of Madrid, just behind Gran Via, close to all main tourist attractions. Very nice staff. Some might not like the presence of prostitutes just around the corner, but there was no noise or problem at all. The area is well patrolled and a police station is 50 meter away.

The location is just perfect, most tourists attractions are reachable in a walking distance. Room was spacious and well fitted. The owner Juan is very friendly and helpful, and gave a bottle of very nice red wine on arrival. Good value for money (not for luxury lovers). Safe deposit box was broken. The Russian version said that wi-fi internet available. In fact it wasn't true. The only way to connect to internet is ethernet cable, which is not really suitable for mobile devices. On the corner of the street, putanas are waiting for their clients. It's not annoying or anything like that, just don't be surprised.

We liked the fact that the apartment was fully furnished. There's a lift, too, so no problem if you have heavy bags. Gran via metro stop was so near that it wasn't a problem going around Madrid.

Great location in the center of town that was well secured. The bathroom was nice in that your shower was actually in a tub and was not so small. Nice shelves and sink cabinet for storage of your things. Enjoyed the free internet and appreciated the fact that there was an elevator. The air conditioning worked well. I was bother that the entrance was on a dirty side street. Although we were not concerned, the proximity of the prostitution trade might not be appropriate for families with children. The beds could have been a little newer.

Juan was extremely helpful and was very accomodating when we had to arrive later than we expected. The apartment was well fitted with everything we needed and it was very nice to have a washer during the middle of our several week trip. The location was great and it was nice and quiet even on the busier nights with the double paned windows. This was the best apartment we stayed in during our entire trip.

This facility has a small number of apartments in the historical center of Madrid. Very close to Prado, Puerta de Sol, etc. which is important as you can walk to many sights as opposed to the usuriouos taxi fares. Best to take metro or cercanias if going any distance. Very authentic experience run by Spanish people. Yes, at end of street the hookers hang out but they are pacific. Also no managment on site during some of the day but were always available when needed.

Juan is a true gentleman and his Hotel is a wonderful value for money find. Great location, very clean and apart from not having wi-fi in the room (although free internet available) is perfect. Juan (Manager) did me a great service when I left my iPad behind. He arranged for it be shipped to my requested location and inisted I pay nothing extra than the dhl delivery costs. That is a rare and greatly appreciated gesture and a reflection of this establishment. If Madrid is your town for a stay, this place is a real winner.

It was in the middle of madrid close to everything. The apartment looked beautiful and had everything you would need in it. We did not like the beds. The two twin beds were too short and I am not very tall and the pull out bed was very uncomfortable.

Fantastic! The appartment was in a fabulous location, just off the Gran Via, 1 minute from the metro station and within walking distance of all the major sights, It was very clean (we stayed 3 nights and our linen and towels were changed on the 2nd day, which we really hadn't expected in an appartment). It was also spacious, well laid out, comfortable, and really well equipped. Juan was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating, marking all the local sights on a map for us and even giving us a delicious welcome bottle of Spanish wine. There was a brilliantly well stocked supermarket (in El Corte Ingles) less than 5 minutes walk away, which made it very easy to self cater, which really helped to cut the cost of our holiday. Great value for money and highly recommended - we would definitely stay here again! The only real downside was that the room with the sofa bed was very noisy at night, even though it looked out onto what looked like quite a quiet street. However, this seems to be true of pretty much everywhere in Madrid and certainly wouldn't put us off staying here again. Might be an idea to take ear plugs though!
