So much to say here... I'll start by honoring the lovely hosts who tried their best to communicate to us in English - even though we had no expectation of this. Google translate is wonderful and they were eager to please, so that was a gracious touch. My husband and I were on the tail end of a long road trip through northern Spain and I had had a headache for almost two weeks at this point with no relief. With one email, Ramon arranged an amazing massage from a local therapist who showed up with her table, music and aromatherapy and despite the language barrier, completely understood how to relieve the pain. My husband had a massage, too, and all in the comfort of our beautifully furnished suite! Amazing! Breakfast was lovely and all served in such a quaint setting. The home is beautiful, well-furnished, and so inviting.

    Nothing at all

We arrived to a warm welcome and the aroma of homemade cake baking. Beautiful house, peaceful surroundings and excellent dinner cooked by Lydia. Local organic wine was great. A wonderful find.

The welcoming was warm, the place really beautiful, the view from the room was great, walking to the hills & around the quiet village. Breakfast was also good and staff gave us a good tips where to travel etc. Really enjoyed the trip & Cal Ganso

Loved the village and our room. Cal Ganso was a unique residence full of antiques and charm.

We were not fond of the dinner which we paid E15 each, nor the included breakfast.

The charming and friendly welcome from Ramona and Lydia. A traditional village house beautifully decorated to extremely high standards. The excellent meals were served with passion and pride.

It was very interesting to see and stay in this perfectly restored old village house. The bedroom was most comfortable and one could also relax in the lounge where reading material in Spanish was provided. One or two English tourist guides would be welcome. Meals were delicious - we appreciated sampling 'real' Spanish food. If you intend to arrive late and want dinner, be sure to order beforehand. The hosts also provide guided walks and caving trips at very reasonable prices.

Albiñana was difficult to find and once there Cal Ganso was not easily found. A few signposts would help and probably be welcomed by the locals who must be harassed by lost guests! Don't expect to find entertainment in the village at night.

A true pearl between Barcelona and Port Aventura. Outstanding charm and hospitality. The attention to detail is lovely. There's even a little wine cellar. Would happily return.

It is a very clean place. The decoration is very pretty. The breakfast included healthy choices. The host and hostess are very nice and attentive.

I little too structured for my taste. They have a specific time for quiet time, breakfast, dinner, etc..Access to parking is limited.

A lovely place to stay. Fantastic house. Friendly and accommodating owners. Excellent food.

Parking is awkward for motorcycles, however don't let that put anyone off just be prepared.

very friendly owners, delicious breakfast and beautifully decorated and furnished house. Lovely view from the bedroom.

Difficult to find, no clear instructions at time of booking. The house is next to the main road whereas we thought it would be in a more rural setting
