Cala Bona y Mar Blava    

We had a wonderful experience of staying in Mar Blava! First of all, it is located in a very nice part of Ciutadella, on the rocky bank of a small bay, and you can go down to the sea, sit on the rocks, sunbathe, swim and enjoy the beautiful landscape without leaving the hotel's territory. It is also 10 minutes from the center, bus station and in 15 minutes from the harbor. Secondly, the staff is not just doing their job perfectly, they are very responsible, friendly and nice guys who are always ready to help you. They are doing their best in advising and entertaining their guests :) We felt like at home, thank you very much! The hotel is totally advisable for the people who are searching for a quiet and nice atmosphere for a reasonable price.

Wifi didn't reach room. Design is very outdated and bathroom smelled of mildew. Breakfast buffet has few options.

The staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. Beautiful location about a 10 minute walk from town, great views, relaxing and a generous breakfast. Great value-for-money.

No WiFi in the rooms (although advertised as such), but maybe this was a good thing as it kept us out of our rooms!

The location is superb our room overlooked one of the Cuitadella estuaries and we could also enjoy the same view whilst having breakfast. The breakfast is simple but of good quality as the coffee and juices were far better than we have had when staying in 4* hotels. Also all the usual chargeaable extras in expensive hotels ie wifi, room fridge and safe all free not like in expensive hotels. In addition free parking outside the hotel. We will definitely stay here again.

Fabulous staff. Loved walking through the restaurant and down the path into the sea. 15 minute walk into the old town.

They put us in the sea view room when we arrived which is great! The room was nice and very clean, we stayed for 3 nights and they made beds for us everyday! The staffs were super helpful, always helped out with where to go, delicious restaurants, cruise trip, etc... and they even go out of their way to help us calling and confirm our bookings/reservation. It was perfect, our stay in Mar Blava. It is also in the good location as well, walking distance to the port and the old town. I would recommend anyone who wants to go to Menorca to stay here.

Amazing location, very friendly staff, amazing access to the sea. I would recomend this hotel to everybody!! I really enjoyed Menorca and the hotel was one of the reasons!!

This hotel is just perfect value for the money. Of course it is not a 5* hotel, but you pay also a lot less. The staff is just great very friendly and helpfull. One of the guys I met speaks perfectly English, the others feel unsecure about it but it is easy to communicate with them. The location is fantastic, you can immediately jump in the sea from the hotel and there is a sandy beach within a few minutes walk. At the other side of the water is a nice cafe which serves cheap and nice bites and drinks. The citycentre and busstation are about 10-12 minutes walk. Perfect stay, I will definitely recommend it and hope to come again!

Beautiful location! We had a room on the second floor of Cala Bona with a wonderful view of clear blue waters. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Room was simple but clean, with small (but clean) bathroom. Great breakfast buffet set on a balcony overlooking the inlet. This hotel was great value for money and we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay.

Although this is only a 2 star hotel - it was excellent for our six night stay. 10 minutes walk from Cuitadella and the port. The hotel was spotlessly clean and towels and linen changed every couple of days. The staff could not have been more helpful. We would definitely stay there again, in fact are considering it for later this year. Fantastic value for money.

Margarine at breakfast instead of butter! The directions to the hotel given on Booking.com were confusing and we drove around for ages. We asked at a petrol station where they told us the hotel was known to them, but the directions were not the best. The staff at the hotel said they were actually wrong. My husband looked on the hotel website and we should have downloaded directions from there. The hotel was worth the inconvenience though when we did get there.

El hotel está en una ubicación excelente, con acceso a una cala privada. El personal que nos atendió es muy dedicado, nos explicaron todo lo que debíamos ver en menorca y nos facilitaron mucho las cosas. Relación precio/calidad excelente

Ha sigut un molt bon viatge tant pel paisatge paradisiàtic, platges I festa com per la atenció que vam rebre de la gent que treballa a l`hotel, som molt amables. Per altra banda l´hotel està molt ben situat de cara a sortir a pendre una copa, està a deu minuts com a màxim del centre.

Me ha gustado mucho la ubicación del hotel y el trato del personal, dispuesto a ayudar en todo momento.Te hacen sentir como en casa. Hotel totalmente recomendable.Bastante limpio Espero repetir.

El emplazamiento con vistas a una cala tranquila. La cercanía al centro de la ciudad. Desayuno abundante. Trato agradable de los chicos que se ocupan del hotel.

Un lavabo mal diseñado: taza de vater sin espacio para las piernas, lavabo diminuto, mampara de ducha insuficiente. Creo que no había salón de estar con televisor.
