The food is a bit boring, and only for the strong stomaches.
Staff is very strict with the eating schedules, as dinner is only served until 21:30 which is a joke unless you are 70+...
The packed lunch is no more than some dry snacks a cheap juice and an apple that is not going to survive for the rest of the day.
---- There is no acoustic privacy on the room, we experienced some wild XXX moments courtesy of the couple next door around 5am for 2 days in a row, the next day was a group of girls chit chatting all night...sleep quality is not good at all!!!
Animation in the hotel is a bit cheesy and very child oriented.
Pool chairs are always in use, as people go eat/sleep leaving their towels to save the chair, and this can be all day long...
Location/transportation - this part of Ibiza is the worst in terms of bus schedules. 4 or 5 buses a day to San Antoni and thats it.
To sum it up, I only used the hotel as a base to sleep and save money on meals, as I went to Ibiza to spend the day (and night). I won't be back to Cala Tarida, not my cup of tea, but I will come again to Ibiza next year to spend my holidays in Eivissa city.
This place can be a money saver if you are on a tight budget, the all inclusive option can save you money, if you are not too picky with the food, accomodation and place location.
If you only want to relax its great, but if you want to experience the night life this is not for you, as there is nothing exciting nearby. You can however use this place as a base to explore the rest of the island but you really need a car, as the bus routes from here are extremely limited.
