Elba Sara Beach & Golf Resort  

We loved the location, the hotel and the range of activities available. The food was also good and the kids loved being able to get slushes and ice creams whenever they wanted.

The hotel is just lovely. Bordering on luxurious. Spotlessly clean, rooms with balcony are so spacious.staff wonderful. Food excellent. Location smashing especially as.we love walking by the sea.

The facilities in the hotel were very good and there was a very relaxed atmosphere which is essential. Also the daily activities organised were excellent and fun.

Despite the choice the food tasted much the same and was the only dissapointing aspect of the holiday. Certainly having spoken to other guests there was agreement on this point.

My friend and I had a lovely five days at this very good hotel. We were all-inclusive and the standard of food surpassed our expectations - as did the freeflowing cava!! The hotel itself is situated just 10 mins by taxi from the airport which of course means you are in the flight path but it didnt bother us, the short transfer time was what we wanted. The reception, restaurant and two bars are well kept and the pool area and grounds of the hotel are attractive and tidy. The pools are icy but it was early in the season. There is a good programme of day time activities if you wish to get off your sunbed! The staff were friendly and encouraging with my very basis Spanish! Our room was large and very clean with a lovely big bathroom, and a large balcony with a super pool and sea view. The hotel is situated behind a small sandy beach and right next to a good shopping complex with an array of shops including a spar if you decide to take the HB option. All in all, an excellent find.

The hotel's evening entertainment was somewhat lacking and the local town was 'asleep'!! However, it is early in the season so maybe the town would be more 'buzzy' at a busier time.

Room 348 was very nice, and the food was very good.

The furniture in the Broadway bar and upstairs bar was not up to the standard of the hotel.

the air conditioning was too noisy,on the night of the 28th of january the lady wouldn't change the room, not even the day after. So we spended three night in room 107 on yhe first floor without sleeping...No discount at the end even if the lady asked how was the holiday. Why did she asked if there isn't any customer service?

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the sea view was very impressive

My mothers room was double booked and they wanted to put her in another hotel, so we ended up sharing a room with my mother on a camp bed not an ideal situation, the staff in the snack bar were quite rude.

The location which was very quiet yet easy to access other places like the city. Variety of food was lovely.

You should get complimentary transport from the airport.

The room was very nice, spacious and functional. The hotel is well connected to the airport. There are shows every night at the hotel. The staff was very nice and corteous.

If you wanted to use the safe in your room you had to pay an extra 4€ a day! The food was very Northern European-oriented and quantity outweighed quality by far! There were shows every night at the hotel, which gave you something to do, because in spite of the many hotels in the area, there were no shops open in the evening or clubs to go to. The hotel is close to the airport so there are planes flying above you all the time (very noisy, especially on Saturdays). Having visited other parts of the island, I can say this is definitely the least beautiful part. The beach is not even comparable to those of Sotavento, Jandia or Corralejo, just to mention a few. Furthermore there is no night life and few facilities.

OK. If you check on tripadvisor, you'll see comments about the food. Here's the lowdown: the food is good. Really, it's very good, considering what they have to provide. However, the hotplates they use to keep the foot hot on the buffet, are simply HOPELESS. Everything comes off the buffet no hotter than tepid. I resorted to using a microwave which was there for heating baby food!

We had a wonderful time at Elba Sara. All personnel were wonderful. The food was awsonme. The hotel was great and allowed for a really relaxing experience. Definitely recommend.
