Geranios Suites & Spa  

My partner and I stayed at the Geranios Suites last week, after first visiting in 2009. We got engaged on our balcony so it was a very important trip to go back and be in the same room. The staff as before, were very accommodating and did their utmost to make our stay perfect. The rooms were well equipped, even down to having a cheese grater! The only thing I would suggest would be to have a door card to inform the cleaning lady to come in or not, we found ourselves calling out telling her not to come in as we were still in bed! But apart from that, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay, clean, tidy, large rooms, everything you need. You are even just a stones throw away from the beach and cocktails, with a supermarket, shops within 10 minute walk.

there were a number of problems with things missing or not working when we arrived in our apartment, however once i had spoken to the manager everything was dealt with efficiently.

I booked the Geranios suites on recomendation after speaking to a booking.com advisor. I wanted 5 star accom near the beach with either heated pool or indoor pool, incase the weather was bad. Also childrens activities during the day or night would have helped. The Geranios Suites supposedly had all this according to the booking.com website and advisor. When we arrived it had 2 pools, both freezing cold and salt water, the childrens play area consisted of a plastic slide inside a hotel room, nightly entertainment started at 2130hrs in the bar and was adult orientated. (only ever saw 6 people in there max). I believe this hotel was totally miss represented. We didnt even use the hotel pool once, high buildings all sides, never got any sun.

Excellent location right next to the beach and a 5 min stroll to the resort centre. Relaxed atmoshpere. Supermarket, a few shops and an independent seafront cafe bar within the complex. Very spacious, well planned and well furnished rooms, spotlessly.clean with good sized balconies. Only 10 mins in a taxi to the airport. Perfect base for a quiet, relaxing beach holiday for couples.

Need to be careful that your room/apartment is not located beside the gym as the music is very loud and vibrates through to your room

Loved the spaciousness of the suites and balcony, also the fact that the microwave had a grill. The staff were really obliging and pleasant, especially Itziar, which made our 2 weeks stay so enjoyable. The location was just perfect for us; beside the beach and just a few minutes to great restaurants etc. also great for long walks on the prom.

Double bed option would be good. Lack or information re: Spa facilities, Dining etc. - all the usual info you expect in the room - not there!

Just back from Geranios Suites this was one of the best hotels we have stayed in! Beautiful hotel,great location lovely large rooms. Only downside not many people in the hotel which was such a shame, a hidden gem in Fuerteventura we will definately be back!

The location was great

The man who works in the dining room mad us feel like cheap scates questioning us and calling reception when we said we had chosen to have lunch instead of dinner as we were half board but wanted to go out in the evening! The lady who checked us in had said this was fine but when I explained this to the man his response was 'impossible' making us very embarrassed.

I liked the generous space of the suite, the view of the sea from our balcony, the modern design of the complex and the sound of water running into the pool

The complex is right under the flight path of planes coming in to land just seven kilometres away from the airport and so we had planes over our head every morning from 7 A.M.There is an ungenerous spirit about the way in which the hotel operates.

Attentive and helpfull staff, the maid service was excellent in connection with any of our personal requiremetns, this was our 3rd time at Geranios suites and we will return later this season. Fantastic value for short weekend breaks for business users.

The only issue we experienced is the heavy presence of mosquitoes in the sheltered areas.

The location was excellent, close to the beach and the airport. The design and space of the room. Staff very helpful and caring. Breakfast abundant and good quality. I was pleasantly surprised because I had read some negative comments on booking and I think they are unfair and do not reflect reality.

I stayed with my wife for one week and we liked the size of the room and the location of this hotel.

We found that the room was not cleaned before our arrival and we had to call the reception to get somebody to clean our room.
