I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Room was comfortable and clean.

Bathroom was small. Trying to fit in a bidet and toilet in the space was too close to the sink and toilet roll holder, quiet odd. The water in the shower randomly went from hot to cold.

There is no way that it is a 4 star hotel, I have been travelling to Spain and Portugal for years and we like the comfort of a 4 star hotel. The Calipolis is a basic 3 star hotel.You should go and see the Terrana and other 4 star hotel in Siteges and compare Thebedrooms,bathrooms rooms and coridoors are not up to standard The food for breakfast was mostly ok, but I like hot food and most of it was either cold or slightly warm

We loved the beachfront location and central location.

We loved it, but like much of Sitges, it is hard to find culinary options for vegans.

Location across the street from main gay beach. Spacious sea-view room, well appointed bathroom & good shower facilities. Beach towels were provided daily at reception.

Swimming pool was v disappointing, tiny, more of a water feature than a swimming pool. Space for about 8 loungers adjacent to the pool so please do not book this hotel because it has a pool! The fixtures and fittings are outdated including the in-room stereo system & the air conditioning units. The a/c worked pretty well however. The rooms are in need of modernisation, dont expect iphone docking stations etc. Rooms were somewhat noisy in the mornings with continuous moving of furniture upstairs.

The hotel is very ordinary, not to say middling. I could give it 3 stars, not 4. Mediocre rooms, nothing special. Breakfasts are ordinary and monotonous, during 10 days of my stay no one dish has been renewed. In the hotel there are very few rooms with balconies (as it was said to us at reception). But you will be surprised to this statement if you look at the hotel's photo at web-site. Or could we suggest that this is only discrimination against Russian tourists? And one more scandalous thing of the hotel's rules: beforehand of your arrival they check if the balance of your credit card cobers the total cost of all days of your booked stay - ten days! Whereas the terms of booking state that in case of my non-arrival (or late cancellation of booking) the hotel has the right to charge the cost only of one night. But my card was debited for the total amount of ten days and afterwards the money was returned, and it was not checking of my credit card balance as the people at reception strongly assured me. I checked specially with my bank the statement of my account - there were consecutive operations of writing off and repayment of the amount. Has the hotel the right to check the balance of my card for the total amount of cost of my stay if the hotel has the right to charge only amount of eur 182.00 in case of my non-arrival, while they wrote off and repaid eur 1820.00 one day before my arrival. Taking into account the procedure of international bank operations I could not use this amount during five more days! It means that at my arrival at reception I had to pay other eur 1820.00, and only 4 days later I could uase my money with my card which were so-called "checked" by the hotel. In this hotel I met a woman to whom another hotel cancelled her booking by the reason that while such "checking" by that hotel they found out that at her card there was not enough amount for payment for the whole stay at the hotel.

We've stayed at the Calipolis at least 5 times. We love the location, right opposite the beach and central to the town. The extensive breakfast on offer is superb.

The food by the pool was poor

The location was great, directly across from the beach. I also liked the layout of the room, lots of storage space, which is rare in Europe. The bed was comfortable and the ac and water worked well.

The room was a bit dated, could definitely use refreshing. It was also quite noisy, we could easily hear our neighbors and especially the people above because of the tile floors. There was little or no fabric / textile in the room to absorb noise. Not a place to come for a good nights rest, especially in the summer.

The location was excellent and the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful.

King size beds were not available in ocean view rooms.

Location, location, location..... And it had a great balcony. Good breakfast.

The staff was indifferent at best. $10 e for a cup of ice. The location is great, but very noisy at night. The bed was sooo uncomfortable. Pool is very small, with limited lounge chairs.
