Calle Mayor staff were friendly and accommodating, the rooms are large, clean and modern, the location is perfect for city touring e.g. tapas on Calle Laurel, walking the Camino and local & regional winery visits, and the breakfast was hearty and delicious--some of the best tortilla we had in two weeks of travel.

Parking is a little distance but did not dampen our trip in anyway.

It was right in the heart of the city so we could walk to everything!

Excellent location on very quiet street. Breakfasts were included and they offered one of the best breakfasts that I had in our travels to Spain. Discounted parking was available in the local city underground parking lot which was located 2 blocks away.

The staff at the hotel was Amazing!! The location was centrally located to every thing in walking distance. Would recommend this to all my friends and family!

This little hotel (only 12 rooms) is brand new and in the heart of old Logrono. The staff is very helpful and breakfast, consisting primarily of pastries and fruit is included.

On the weekends, Spaniards take to the streets and party all night long. Because the hotel is located in the heart of old Logrono, the noise is very disruptive for those that actually want to sleep at night. It is best to stay at this hotel during the week.

Hotel Calle Mayor is in a wonderfully restored 14th century building. The attention to detail has resulted in a delightful blend of luxury and history. The staff are excellent: friendly and helpful. Because it is a small, family-owned boutique hotel, very personal attention is given. The hotel is in the old part of Logrono, which is the centre of the Rioja area in Spain. The hotel is situated near the river and extensive parklands and a short walking distance from great food (tapas etc). The surrounding countryside is picturesque.

A wonderful hotel!! Clean, quiet, on the El Camino, close to downtown, helpful staff (we needed some help with transportation in Burgos. The young lady at the front desk spent half an hour helping us)

Good location for restaurants and bars

Extremely noisy at night due to music bar next door. Noise continued till 4 or 5 in the morning.

Modern facilities. Very clean. Beautiful bathroom. Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff.

Unfortunately, the hotel is just near a nightclub, and on Friday night and, even more so on Saturday night, there was noise 'til 4.30 am. However, I must say, although it bothered me, my husband slept right through!! Luckily, the room has quadruple glazing - it would be unbearable without it.

The room was very comfortable, nicely decorated and the hotel itself was situated in a very handy location for the town of Logrono,- a very easy, short walk into town - but it was quietly tucked away down a side street. The staff were eager to speak English and were helpful and friendly. Car parking is in town but it's easy to find close free parking, or you can pay a small amount until a space becomes available - best time to find a parking space is after 4pm but before 7pm.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was beautiful, location doesn't look much from outside but it is convenient to tapas bars, shopping areas and free carparks.

location was incredibly central to all the cities activities...like shopping, museums and food the hotel is newly refurbished and the rooms and facilities are beautifully thought thru and decorated in a simple, modern and functional way

parking...although they had parking it was at a very small and tight garage about 2 blocks away

This is a new hotel but a very old palacial building. The design has integrated the old with modern, which is quite nice. The staff were very welcoming throughout my visit. Breakfast was good, not necessarily exceptional, but had a nice variety of meats, cheeses, yogurt and cereal. Rooms were nice and the bathroom well equipped. Location excellent and central. Hotel staff very friendly.

The breakfast included some fresh fruit very beautifully presented on plate. However, I would have preferred to have had the fruit available on the buffet so I could select how much and what type I preferred to eat. I ended up leaving much of the fruit as I don't prefer many types so this was a waste of food. Noise was an issue at night. This may not necessarily be an issue during normal periods but I was visiting during the largest festival of the year, San Mateo. There are nightclubs located on the ground level across the street and next door to the hotel. Partiers were quite noisy outside of these clubs on the streets until dawn. I was able to drown out much of the noise using my sleep app on my ipad. But this may be an issue for light sleepers. This noise issue probably isn't a problem during the week but may be bothersome even on normal weekend nights.

Hotel Calle Mayor is the most beautiful one we have visited on our trip through Northern Italy, Spain and Portugal. We loved our unfortunately very short stay at Legrono and would certainly recommend a trip to this lovely old town and your very lovely designed hotel. We wish you all the luck in the world with your enterprise and hope you can keep the hotel as beautiful and the beds as nice and comfortable for a long time!

The hotel is located right in the center of Logrono, yet in a quiet street. Perfect location for walking around the city, and just two blocks from the best tapas/pintxos bars. The building is a state-of-the-art modern hotel but the ceiling wood beams and main staircase are 400 years old - a great restoration effort. The breakfast is a superb selection and of the highest quality - the owner was watching over it himself and explained everything, We stayed only one night but plan on going back next year to use the hotel as basis for exploring the Rioja wine making region further. This was a great experience and offered very good value for the money paid.

Everything. Absolutely fabulous. Superb rooms, super location, staff were extremely helpful. Excellent breakfast. Right in the centre of town, so you could walk everywhere. Very good choice for an enjoyable stay.

The hotel was outstanding and one of the best I have ever stayed in, very fresh and modern and above all spotless and the beds are so comfortable .staff are extremly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was most enjoyable to set you up for the day . Hotel has parking around the corner which was excellent.
