Set in a 15th-century country house, Can Bassa offers charming accommodation set in an estate in the village of Madremanya. Surrounded by attractive grounds, it has an ideal setting for hiking, horse riding and cycling. All rooms and apartments offer views of the village of Madremanya. Each has beautiful, rustic décor with exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings and wooden furnishings. Apartments also include a kitchenette and a seating area. We really enjoyed our stay. The facilities were clean and beautiful and the owners were helpful and generous. It was a perfect holiday!

Can Bassa is a fantastic location and a family run business which makes it nice and personal. The rooms are spotless and extremely comfortable, and the breakfasts plentiful and enjoyable - it also includes ingredients for a traditional Catalan breakfast! The gardens are beautifully kept and the swimming pool small but very pleasant with salt water. The village is very quiet and picturesque. We felt that there could have been more variety in the minibar and utensils available. However, Can Bassa is predominently slef catering, so a very minor complaint.

Een oase van rust en een mooi groen glooiend landschap. Can Bassa is uiterst geschikt om als echtpaar rustig de streek te verkennen. Zeer verzorgde woning met ruime kamers. De gastheer en gastvrouw zijn echt gastvrij. Ik denk echter dat deze B&B minder geschikt is voor kinderen. Een aanrader!

La atención personalizada. El cuidado por la persona, sin lujos innecesarios. El ambiente franco, amistoso y abierto de los dueños, Pedro e Isabel. La paz del lugar. La accesibilidad a montaña, mar, ciudad y pueblos con carácter y sabor especial.

Las instalaciones son magníficas, he podido visitar algunos de los apartamentos y son muy confortables. De hecho, nos alojamos en una habitación (lavanda) que era muy bonita y grande, y la cama también muy cómoda. Además, el desayuno que nos prepararon estaba bien, a pesar de ser básicamente desayuno continental, también había jamón, tomates, etc.. El lugar está destinado a recibir grupo de amigos, familias con niños y también pareja jóvenes como nosotros, yo realmente no me molesto en tener niños jugando alrededor, pero para los que sí, puedo decir que no se puede escuchar a ellos dentro de la habitación, por lo menos en la que estábamos. Como detalle, ya que estábamos en una habitación (sin cocina) por la noche mi marido comentó con la dueña que me gustaría tener un poco de chocolate y ella amablemente nos dejó una bandeja llena de chocolates y frutos secas en la mesa sólo para nosotros. Los propietarios fueron muy atentos, siempre preguntando si nos faltaba algo, etc., indicando los lugares a visitar y para comer. Realmente nos sentimos como estábamos visitando a un amigo de un amigo y no un "hotel". Sin duda nosotros vamos a repetir en la próxima oportunidad.
