Next to the port and fishing village of Sant Carles de la Ràpita, this is an ideal place from which to visit the Delta del Ebro. This is a new hotel with a distinct family-run character.
Score from 375 reviews Excellent
Situated next to a small bay, in front of the Alfacs and Delta del Ebre Nature Reserves, in one of the few places left where you can still enjoy unspoiled coastline.
Score from 164 reviews Good
Enjoy a historic setting and magnificent views from this 10th century castle, carefully restored as a luxury hotel but still retaining much of its original charm.
Score from 342 reviews Very good
In the coastal town of L'Ampolla, looking out to sea, the hotel offers comfortable, well-equipped accommodations and great facilities and services.
Score from 539 reviews Good
Friendly staff. Close to beaches. Very clean and modern interior. Restaurant looked good although not used. Good friendly breakfast service. Overall we had a great 3 night stay with supermarkets and bars close by.
From the outside did not look overly inviting, but dont be put off.
Bright , clean , modern and comfortable. Good one night stopping off point en route . Staff helpful and friendly.
Very close to beach and nice cafés. Very clean bright units. Good free car park outside
Reception was very friendly.
Rooms do not have mosquito screens on the windows, therefore enjoying the summer night breeze is not an option. There is no tea kettle in the room. Breakfast is very limited (but maybe that's how Spanish breakfast is). The coordinates given on Booking.com are wrong; they are almost 1.5 km south of the correct location.
Hotel was easy to find, close to the centre of town and the beaches and seafront were a 5-10 min walk away. Staff were very customer focused and very helpful, although a little knowledge of spanish would be useful; we were always able made ourselves understood even though we only know a few words. The room was a reasonable size and had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. Breakfasts were great and you could help yourself to as much fresh fruit, cheese, ham (including iberico ham), tomatoes, a variety of croissants, bread and juices as you wanted. Superb coffee. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and the food was excellent. Hotel spotlessly clean. Toiletries provided and towels changed everyday. Lidl 2-3 minutes away if you need anything. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money and is very highly recommended.
Bed is a little too firm for my taste but no worse than those found in most Spanish hotels, otherwise I didn't have any complaints about the hotel or staff.
The staff were lovely, from the young woman who welcomed us to the attentive lady who saw to breakfast. We were given very good information on best places to see birds. The breakfast was delicious. I had the best croissants i have had in my life (I am French and not young!) and unlike mosts hotels including paradors, was offered more coffee.
If I have to put anything in this section, I would mention a long hanging light shade in a corner that I kept knocking into.
clean spacious rooms, quiet
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh with a good variety. Location was great and easy to find.
Mattresses were somewhat hard and uncomfortable. Only compliant. WiFi was not reliable.
The staff was excellent
The bath tub was a bit slippery
It was a warm room
It was cold when you opened the window
Warm welcome from the owner. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were good.
It was unfortunate that the restaurant was not open for dinner on the night of our visit as we have used it in the past and found it very good.
