I had felt like killing all the roosters in the area the 1st two
mornings but then switched my attitude and treated it as a nice, country
side attraction. Plus they got us up for our morning runs... Beds
somewhat hard but you can get used to it. We never met the owners who
were on vacation(!) elsewhere... Too bad, we both wanted so much to
learn more about the house and family history. I felt like reading
through their entire library (and stay for a month or two).
Nearly everything. My wife simply said it was her best place ever to
stay. :-) It was exactly what we wanted: peace and quiet away from busy
Barcelona, yet close enough to quickly get there by car. Very close to
the beach but not beach front in yet another steel and glass busy hotel
next to the rail tracks. If you like something different than a
classical and boring hotel room, this is the place. The house on a hill,
the view, the rooms, the furniture, the park (the smell there!), the
pool... Oh, my, oh my! I even got some fresh figs directly from the
tree. We gonna stay there again if ever around Barca.
