Sercotel Carlos III    

Nice facilities. Excellent shower with built-in seat and floor-to-ceiling nozzles. We spent over two hours in the 'Fun Zone' room with two computers, an XBOX 360 and a Playstation 3. Great price for a family room. Parking garage underneath the facility (which can be paid as part of your hotel bill). Playground and restaurant nearby. Less than a ten minute walk to the waterfront.

No view. The rooms are nice and secure, but not at the level where you want to spend time in them beyond sleeping and getting ready to go out.

Receptionist went out of her way to be very helpful

Very large rooms, helpful staff and a cafe/bar on site. Able to leave luggage at the hotel after checking out. Only a short walk to the old part of Cartagena.

Warm water in the shower didn't get very warm

Even it was a 3star in my opinion it could be a 4star (in comparison to other 4 or 5-star hotels I have been). The staff was very helpful, the room was super clean and modern. I really liked the stay in Sercotel.

The room was the cheapest double available, but it was a little to small for two people. I stayed alone so for me it was fine.

Due to the location, finding a route to it by car was difficult this mainly due to the one way system and major road works on Calle de Carlos III

Cheap, quiet, clean, spacious room, effective and quiet air conditioning, didn't charge for items we used from mini-bar.

I must leave reviews on this hotel at least 3 - 4 times a year and nothing really changes. Having tried most of the hotels in Cartagena, this is now the only one I use. The reception staff are excellent - friendly, courteous and speak English. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the hotel in general is bright and cheerful. I have never eaten there, but the courtyard bar is also a nice feature and makes light meals, tapas and a good variety of beers and spirits. The location is excellent for shopping and the port is well worth a visit and only about a 15 minute walk away.

Receptionist could not have been any more helpfull. Nothing was too much (thanks). Location in the city was excellent, on street parking was reasonable.

Close to roman forum and theater. Rooms are comfortable, bathrooms clean and modern. Great deal on breakfast.

The room was clean. Breakfast was decent and suprisingly cheap but we were told this due to some temporary discount that week.

Despite close to main tourist area the location is on the dirty street next to huge garbage container standing right beside the hotel entrance smelling badly. Airconditioning in the room was malfunctioning and it was hot to sleep at night. Bathroom is so small that is hard to move or turn inside it. The receptionist was not very welcome and not talkative. Then he first said the breakfast is not included in the booking price but aftrewards was apparently included... When we stressed the airconditioning issue we did not get any help or offer to move to another room with working airconditioning.. So overall not good experience...

I stay at this hotel every time I visit Cartagena to see my family, which is three or four times a year - so that says it all. Friendly staff, comfortable room and good location.

Nice and spacious rooms, reception staff spoke fluent English and the breakfast was by far the very best we ever had in Spain on our 3 weeks trip along the coast.

Room was spacious including large bathroom, and very clean. Good proximity to Old City area as well as bus and train station.

It is somewhat difficult to find. My room had no window unfortunately.

Room was surprisingly large and comfortable. Location was good with just a short walk to the historic center and restaurants. Wifi connection in room was very strong (a rarity in Spain). A good value.

Stark, modern design created a cold atmosphere. Lighting in the room seemed inadequate. If you like to watch tv, the small screen is impossible to see from the bed.

The hotel has a modern design and a bright feel to it. The hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean. The breakfast was very good and the meson next door does amazing food - really handy. The location within the town is very good and it was useful to have access to the car park next to the hotel. I didn't mind paying for this as parking seemed to be quite difficult in the area otherwise. This hotel was better than I expected, very quiet and comfortable. Great mini-bar.

Recomiendo este hotel. Diseño muy llamativo y original. Habitación limpia, acogedora, grande, no tiene nada que envidiar a hoteles 4 estrellas. El chico de recepción de por la mañana es muy resolutivo, dándonos informaciones realmente útiles. Además de todo, precio económico. Repito sin duda.

O Hotel está em uma rua silenciosa e tem estacionamento logo embaixo do prédio. Para quem viaja de carro é uma grande comodidade. Porém, não é gratuito.
