stayed one night.great place.
A Beautiful room with views of the Alhambra - wonderfully helpful & friendly staff (presented with complimentary Cava - wonderful!)
At the end of January, the open courtyard was rather chilly for our breakfast!! Imagine that this would be lovely on a hot summer's day - would have been improved by some outdoor heating & a covering canopy - a lovely setting, but too chilly to really enjoy.
The hotel was in a beautiful old building and in the perfect part of Granada for seeing the sights. It was an easy walk to the Alhambra, plus lots of tapas bars and shops.
Our room had a bit of a bad smell to it but you didn't notice after a while, probably just because it was an old building.
Friendly staff, beautiful rooms
Wonderful experience. Great breakfasts and very friendly, helpful staff. Practical location. Highly recommend!
Very friendly staff, quiet and clean place, and very charming.
The Grand Deluxe Suite Room with Jacuzzi (room 18) is simply amazing, the biggest hotel room you will ever stay in. The Jacuzzi is enormous, almost a swimming pool. Excellent breakfast in a very elegant courtyard.
Pity they roofed over the courtyard, although it did mean we could have breakfast 'outside' in mid-February.
tthe breakfast, the afternoon tea ,and helpful staff.Katherine
very cold in the atrium and had to sit there two of the mornings for breakfast.
location is very good.the room and the hotel is really posh, love the decoration and atmosphere. the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.
The location is very good, especially to go the palace.
At the first night I got a room NO.1 but just next to the entrance of the hotel, which means when you enter the hotel you see my room first but not reception...this made me had a bad sleep only for 3 hours. but the second night the hotel help me to change the room to upstairs, and then the room is perfect! The Hotel will offer a free and nice afternoon tea to the customers, everything is great!
Very good location, excellent staff, breakfast and bed. Afternoon tea time saved us money and starvation (not really) while staying up for a late Spanish dinner. WiFi worked well..absolutely no complaints.
very nice room design (Suite) with large wooden doors, large bed, jacuzzi... Like living in the old days in downtown Granada. You are in the middle of the old town, very nice location. Of course you should expect some noise... Breakfast in the room is nice and was worth it. Daily free High Tea is a nice offer with reasonable snacks and drinks. Very fiendly staff. Overall a great stay for a few days in the middle of Granada.
pretty cold during winter time due to weak heaters (an issue all over Andalusia...); getting to the hotel really is a pain, they will write you an email before your arrival, which you should follow. It is impossible to get to the hotel by car, the (tiny) parking lot is about 10 minutes by foot - ideally you only have small luggage... The jacuzzi in the suite is pretty difficult to handle and the explanation in English not very helpful.
-Friendly and helpful receptionist -Perfect Location- city centre. You don't need to worry about driving your car, everything is walking distance. -Hotel decoration-exquisite -complementary afternoon tea was lovely.
The staff was very helpful and the rooms were very comfortable
The location of Hotel Casa 1800 is super - tucked away enough to be quiet but central enough to feel part of the old city. The decor and staff were delightful and the 'tea' (coffee, cakes, fruit etc) served each afternoon was included - a real bonus. We'd definitely use it again.
Nothing ... except possibly the piped music that was on ALL day in the courtyard.
the location, staff, value for money. Would recommend to all--but remember parking is about 8 minutes away and the hotel is a short walk from the road--no car access--but thjis waqs explaioned very clearly when booked
Dropped off at Plaza Nueva -next to sign that directed us to hotel abt 50 metres of hotel. Booked two rooms - both comfortable and clean, welcoming afternoon tea. Plenty of restaurants/bars within walking distance. Hotel arranged tickets for Alhambra - 300m steep uphill walk but also from the same plaza. Could see palace from bedroom window. Old police headquarters, old building, kept lovely. Small but pleasant breakfast.
Nothing we did not like.
The hotel reception staff are polite and both friendly and welcoming. Our rooms 21 and 22 were very comfortable with everything you could wish for. We live in Alicante and were visiting The Alhambra Palace with my husbands mother who was celebrating her 80th birthday. The breakfast was a good continental and afternoon tea was most enjoyable! Only a short walk from the palaces and local tapas bars and restaurants.
Make sure you're given the name of the store where to collect tickets for the Alhambra! Bit disappointed no one acknowledged my mother in law's 80th birthday.
Historc Spanish town house worthy of 5 stars for comfort. Extremely helpful staff a lovely breakfast, and comlpimtary afternoon tea that helps single travellers mix comfortably
The lack of bar and restaurant, complimented however by proximity and variety in the area
Authentic interiors with very modern facilities Complimentary afternoon tea Helpful staff
Great staff, professional and friendly. Close to the Alhambra. Close to great restaurants and shopping.
Location was not clear if you put it in a GPS system. It's located behind the main square.
Friendly helpful staff, comfortable and stylish hotel.
This hotel is a stunningly elegant place, with a wonderful location, a great reception staff that couldn't be more helpful, and a wonderful breakfast and free afternoon tea that comes complete with delicious pastries and even sandwiches. It's not hard to get to (notwithstanding what some reviews state), and the parking arrangement is quite easy too. Just print out the website instructions and you'll be fine! Bottom line: You won't find a nicer hotel, anywhere!
Excellent and polite staff and delightful bedroom
