Location is just perfect if you want to be in the heart of the old city. We were happy with our room that looked onto the courtyard, as outside rooms are very noisy. Decent breakfast and lovely afternoon tea.
Nothing much. Wifi was slowish.
We loved this boutique hotel, excellent position for exploring Seville. Hotel and staff excellent nothing too much trouble.Irene on reception was particularly helpful. Breakfast and afternoon tea ( which was complimentary) were plentiful. Free bottled water, always available.
Slow broadband speed.
Soothingly beautiful decoration.
The time it took to check-in (20 mins!)
The location is perfect for visiting the cathedral and palace - you can walk there in minutes. Front desk staff did know and recommend excellent places to eat.
Little noisy at night if you wanted a door or window open.
Everything we needed, small friendly, stunning, lovely room with a jacuzzi on our private terrace. location could not have been better, walk everwhere if you can. Restaurants close by, inexpensive.
There are currently builders converting the ajoining property. This is of course noisy,so not possible to have siesta! We needed to get u[ early for our jacuzzi experience otherwise we were drowned out by builders banging constantly. However when this work is complete it will be heaven.
discreet, interesting and from the terrace wonderful views of the cathedral . The rooms are comfortable and the whole place is chic and beautifully maintained
If you book a superior room it can still be in the enclosed courtyard with no external windows which makes the room stuffy and claustrophobic. Our friends all had the same standard of rooms but with external windows.
Location Service Small hotel but very charming and elegant Afternoon tea
Great location, close to main attractions, lovely rooms, friendly staff and complimentary afternoon tea was a pleasant surprise.
style and location of hotel nice little extras, like afternoon tea!
Location is unbelievably good. Walk to the major sites is under 3 minutes. Awesome restaurants in under 1 min. Staff was very helpful.
Note the room type comments about rooms with only interior courtyard windows. The courtyard also has the halls/walkways. Some rooms only have these windows so you will likely keep the sheer blinds closed. The booking description is accurate and full disclosure.
No light at the terass and no pillows at the chairs and the sunchairs But an excellens hotell
Exceptionally helpful staff. Breakfast Rooftop bedroom
Location could not be better Elegant decor Calm and intimate Free afternoon tea Friendly and helpful staff
The hotel is absolutely wonderful. The location could not be more perfect, there's complimentary afternoon tea (cakes, hot drinks, fruit, sandwiches) in the beautiful courtyard, our room was wonderful, the view of the sunset over the cathedral from the roof terrace was amazing. Staff were friendly and really helpful. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Truly wonderful.
Nobody told us about the roof terrace but luckily we'd read about it.
This is my favorite of the five different hotels I have stayed in when visiting Sevilla over the past two years. The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything visitors want to do in Sevilla, including eating, drinking, shopping and sightseeing. Casa 1800 is a wonderful blend of classic architecture and modern appointments - highly recommended!
We were happy with all aspects of our stay!
This was our second stay at this hotel. The position is superb, staff are really helpful. Breakfast is not included but afternoon tea is in on the room price.
First, the good stuff. This hotel is in a great location. The rooms were comfortable. The staff was very helpful. Amenities, other than noted elsewhere, were good. Free bottled water was a real plus.
Now the bad stuff. When we reserved, we asked for a room away from the alley because it is noisy. We were given room 106 which is on the first floor right on the alley. VERY NOISY. If you book stay away from rooms 106, 107, 108. Also the WIFI in the rooms did not work and was very slow in general. I am glad we kept ear plugs from the plane.
location, free afternoon tea.
we had supposedly the best room in the hotel ( definately the most expensive!) Never stayed in such a noisy hotel, bar outside our room, noisy until 2am , then 4am the deliveries started up, we came home to get some sleep. oh and your description , of private terrace, hammocks, hot tub, panoramic views... bit wide of the mark... no hammocks, the hot tub was a jacuzzi bath, terrace not private, panoramic views of what.. the next building 5 metres away....
Consistently excellent and helpful reception staff. Beautiful building. Room on 1st floor mildly cramped but very good. Very well located. Excellent complimentary afternoon tea.
Room lighting a bit lacking. Some would say atmospheric.
location Rooms Staff Breakfast
Go up to the rooftop at night and enjoy a breathtaking view of the cathedral illuminated and at your doorstep --- the Alcazar is also just a short distance from the hotel.
The building next door was undergoing some renovations, and the jack hammers started one morning before 9:00 AM. The hotel tried to give us a different room, but the only vacancies were on the same wall of the building -- not really the fault of the hotel.
Hotel Casa 1800 is a beautiful place with a lovely courtyard. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom is a good size but has limited counter space. The location is excellent and every night we sat on the balcony with a beautiful view of the cathedral.
We chose a room with a jacuzzi, which is really just a tub with jets. Not worth the extra price since we didn't have a good view of anything and we could take a bath in the bathtub. Some of the staff didn't speak English that well and didn't know answers to touristy questions.
Décor Rooms Location Complimentary afternoon tea
Very central location, comfortable,friendly staff.
Relatively expensive.could be a bit noisy at night.
