laundry service was cheap and fast loved the location and interior -
I got a private room. Was nice. Bath room next door. Very nice and clean. Bed was nice, nice clean towel aswell ,
I stayed in August and wAs very hot. Had to open balcony window which made if a bit noisy but I exspected that ,
Great stuff, very useful tips for local tapas bars etc Very nice design Very central location Great atmosphere
Fixed check in hours, wasnt a problem for us, but I could imagine it could be for some travellers
The guy in the reception spoke excellent English and gave me a thorough introduction to the city. Clean, friendly, great!
No wifi in the room (only in the common area)
The people are really nice, they help you if you have questions and the accomodation is really good. It's also very clean!
The toilet is in the same room as the shower, which is not that practical, but it is such a little thing compared to all the good things this hostel has.
I enjoyed my stay in Casa Al Sur hostel. The receptionist was very helpful with recommendations about Málaga. Good, comfortable bed, and everything was very clean. In the morning there was free coffee in the kitchen.
Really not that important, but I would have loved to have at least some small breakfast in the hostel.
Tom was a good boss.
I was very friendly to the housekeeper, but he never talked or smiled. But I found that he was nice to the girls.
Good atmosphere. People were chill. No wifi on top floor but no drama just sit in the kitchen and access emails etc. worth it, enjoy
Hosts took care in the small details, recently renovated place, had charm!
Slightly run down neighbourhood but close enough to the sites
Very friendly and helpful staff.
I had some problems with unlocking the bedroom door, which was a bit frustrating. One shower did not work excelent and needed some maintenance. Location was very central, but a bit noicy street when trying to sleep. Very small common area, but good for socializing.
Nice hostel for a stay of a couple of nights.
Very light blinds on the windows, light gets in the room early in the morning.
Good position, places of interest are close. Good value for money.
Credit cards are accepted with an extra charge. There should be a disclaimer about this extra fee. Glasses are very thin, therefore you hear all that happens in the street, though the hostel is located in a rather quiet road. No place for holding luggage.
Great, cozy, clean hostel. Staff friendly.
Fabulous wecloming staff, very good facilities esp kitchen, good sized rooms, clean bathrooms, lovely roof top terrace. My second visit here and would definitely recommend it and stay again. Location is good, neighbourhood is being improved. Great fellow travellers - a good mix of ages and cultures all sharing. Super!
Not a problem for me but you should be aware - no lift (but there is a ground floor room with access to accessible bathroom, kitchen, lounge etc if you have poor mobility), fans not air con in bunk rooms, no lockers.
The hostel is quite in the center but not easy to find.
The hostel was really hard to find especially while driving. If you don't check in time, they charge you additional 10Euros every hour, even if you are few minutes late.
Helpful and friendly staff, clean and fresh room, comfortable bed, excellent location.
Nice helpful staff great location
No service during siesta hours
Good location and helpful and friendly staff, clean and neat
Need to contact reception your arriving time before otherwise not be able to check in
Lovely budget hostel with excellent stuff Tea and coffe during the day
No heating ( general problem with Spain in winter)
If I could rate the staff as higher than excellent I would in a heartbeat. He took the time to help us orient ourselves front he moment we got there. He was truly interested in what we were doing - his suggestions really helped us get around Malaga well and have a great time. He was more than worth what we paid to stay at the hostel. The hostel itself was well kept, and the beds were good. The shower had great water pressure. It was right close to all the business of Malaga and conveniently located to the train and bus stations. They also sent us detailed instructions of how to get there ahead - which was awesome and thoughtful - I have never had this experience before. The value for the money here is off the charts - you should book here with confidence. I would look no further!
The walls were a little thin, and the way the doors shut (loudly) made it hard to sleep soundly before the curfew time (12:00pm) - but this is hardly an issue. Such a small nitpicky thing. Book this hostel already.
Very friendly staff, pretty good location and cute rooms. Even if you get the one with no bathroom,it's right outside the room, so no problem there.
No service during siesta hours, we sat around with our bags until 7 pm. Steep and narrow stairs + heavy luggage = no fun, but I guess it's normal for a tiny hostel.
The staff is super friendly, the (bath) rooms are super clean and very nicely decorated with great eye for detail. The overall atmosphere is amazing and the location makes a stay here quit possibly... Perfect!
Really, nothing at all. From the great instructions how go get there till the free coffee downstairs. It was great and I will be back!
Helpful and knowledgeable staff and plenty of useful facilities including Wi-Fi, washing and tea and coffee making facilities.
Our receptionist (guy from boston didn't catch his name) was super informative and welcoming. He provided restaurant suggestions and directions to everywhere we needed to go! Room was clean and comfortable. Good location.
