Chiara,
Roma
Located 55 yards from the cathedral you will find this small, charming hotel with 7 rooms, all air conditioned, so guests can enjoy the cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Every room is decorated to represent each of the 7 arts and they are named after a well-known artist. They are all exterior and with heating and include a TV, telephone, and music. The hotel is in a superb location; it is in a pedestrian area, yet guests can get to the hotel by car. Hotel Rooms: 7

It is literally 100 meters away from the cathedral. If you get the right room you could see the top of it. The rooms are beautiful and very European.

Great place for the price, both managers are excelent, very helpfull and lovely. The location is 50 yards from the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, better is imposible. For the price I recomended 100% Parking is outside the hystorical perimeter but only at 150 yuards, secure and at a reasonable price.

The rooms while a bit small, were funky and not the run of the mill hotel rooms that can be sooooooo boring. The stone walls, fabrics and prints made for a lovely interior. The windows opening to the front allowed the ambiance of the city to filter through with sounds ranging from a classical saxophonist under the arch (stunning music) to the clip clop of a horseman ambling up the path. We loved this hotel. Breakfast prices at €10.80 a bit expensive considering that a five minute walk provided an 'all you need' breakfast for €5. Staff very friendly, especially Patricia, lovely chatty girl.

My dad has celiac disease and can't eat gluten. The staff person at the front desk (I wish I could remember her name!) went out of her way to do some research and find a handful of restaurants in the neighbourhood that served gluten-free food. It's a very charming hotel right in the centre of the city. The only draw back is also its selling point--because it's so close to the cathedral it's in a very tourist-y area. We had to walk to find great restaurants outside the tourist-crammed centre.

Excellent location - literally meters away from the famous Cathedral. The staff was very helpful and spoke good English (rarity in Northern Spain). The woman in reception made my dining out arrangements according to my cuisine preferences, provided vital information about the city, even booked a taxi in advance for my departure to airport. The hotel itself is in a nice old building. Room was very nicely furnished, comfortable. I won't have to think twice where to stay the next time I'm in Santiago. The Wi-Fi internet connection was somewhat wonky but still usable. There's a windpipe player nearby playing all the day well into evening. It did not bother me much but might be an issue for those who like it quiet.

I liked its quaint size, and its location to the cathedral. The decor of the rooms were pleasant and comfortable. It was like a family-run bed and breakfast; the staff was very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. We would definitely come back here to stay on any future trip to Santiago de Compostela. Being that it is on a pedestrian walkway, it was a bit challenging to maneuver around the taxis, but the staff helped with our luggage and expedited the process so it was manageable.

The location is very good due to fact that is really close to the cathedral and the Center of Santiago and, not on the side of the restaurants and bars where the noise is, which means that even being close to the center it's a calm location I hated an absurd exit green light inside of the room that hardly let me sleep

“After walking the Camino de Santiago this hotel has an absolutely fantastic location (being next to the Cathedral) and is such a wonderful/meaningful building (being a former monastery and still I think used as a seminary during the winter months). The atmosphere was perfect and the staff excellent!” Ray, Poole |
