Granada is a destination dominated by the Alhambra but the reality is that it has so much more to offer. It takes four days to do the sights justice with about 4-5 hours a day of visits. Staying in the centre offers a huge choice of places to eat, bars, shops of every variety, and a tremendous buzz everywhere. Everywhere is walkable but a degree of fitness is advisable - it's hilly and the streets are mostly cobbled. Worth doing good research before coming and definitely book the 0830 opening visit to the Alhambra months in advance. It's cool, the crowds haven't arrived yet and the experience is magical. Granada is right up there with Venice and Florence and is a must see.

A most amazing city with such incredible history, monuments, plazas, fountains, sculptures and public spaces, that it is a must place to see while in Spain. The Alhambra is a crown jewel and the reason most tourist visit here. But, there is much more to see and experience than just that, so stay a few more days and immerse a bit deeper to thoroughly enjoy this incredible area.

Great compact Historic City with plenty to see and do.
Great compact Historic City with plenty to see and do. Good rail links (we got the train From Malaga - 1.25 hours and only 2 other stops)
Lots of decent good value places to eat.
Alhambra was the highlight - you need to spend all day there - book in advance on line and get a time slot for the main Nasrid palace.

The history and culture are wonderful, visiting the Alhambra was a dream. One of our favourite moments came in a quiet plaza we stumbled across having a cold drink and people watching -- with excellent views across the countryside.

Loved touring the Alhambra!
Loved touring the Alhambra! Fabulous architecture and history. Imagine the grounds would’ve been very beautiful later in the spring but crowds would have been much larger also.
Took the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus around the city fora nice, non-walking overview.

Lots of wonderful places to visit aside from Alhambra.
Lots of wonderful places to visit aside from Alhambra.
Very safe area very easy to take the bus lots of nice restaurants to choose from. I highly recommend to take the Granada pass 2 or 3 days would be perfect. If you haven't book for hotel-airport transfer and vice-versa it's ok. There is a bus in the airport parking and it cost 3€ per head to take you the city and back. Just bring cash as sometimes the card machine is not working.
Fantastic location up on the hill in the popular Albacin neighborhood with great views from the 2 roof top terraces of the Alhambra. Heaters on all 3 levels of apartment and in both bedrooms and the bathroom ( needed in March this year). The decor is Moorish style and the beds are very comfortable! Plenty of room to store our bikes, as we were bike touring in Spain. Small city buses are frequent to the neighborhood which is very popular with tourists. 15-20 min walk to Alhambra, close to a great bakery, restaurants, small supermercados, etc.
It is amazing how the Staff can make a lovely hotel stand out as The Best... this hotel is an example. We spent 3 nights and the team at this hotel were the most accommodating and gracious and delightful that we met in our two wonderful weeks in Spain. The rooms were super clean, the view magnificent, the food delightful, the location perfect close to the The Alhambrat and a quick 5 minute taxi to the City Center... but the staff... thank you ALL for making this hotel stay so perfect!
What didn’t we like? Hands down this was our favorite hotel of all the hotels we stayed in during our 2 weeks in Spain. The staff was amazing, the room was amazing and location was amazing! We were greeted after an early morning train ride with a delicious breakfast spread. From our balcony, we could see the Sierra Nevadas (we’re skiers, so this was a big deal for us!) I would 100% stay here again.
EVERYTHING! the location is perfect. The apartment is beautiful and relaxing, very quite but most of all it is super clean with anything you may need, even a washing machine that was a bless after 10 days in Spain moving from town to town. The check in was super easy and they text me everyday to make sure we don’t need anything. That apartment deserve more than 5 stars.
Always the best place to stay in Granada if you want to be relatively close to everything (and a few minutes walk from the train station), love comfort and a big hotel structure, and don't want to stay bang in the middle of the city centre. Staff is helpful and the rooms are great. Fitness centre, spaces to work and the breakfast at the downstairs cafe are great.
Everything. The area of the hotel, even if it is in Alhambra not in Granada. The stuff was awesome, especially Ana. The covid measurments were perfect. Everything was programed and wrapped at the breakfast to be more contact less. Big like for this hotel. I don't know why is not a 5 star hotel. Even there I didn't saw this type of cleaning and covid measurements.
cute little boutique hotel with friendly owners. perfectly located. has a cosy reception area where you can chat to other guests, browse through the books and get recommendations. great roof terrace. plenty of hot water, big bathrooms, comfortable beds.
the young owners are doing a good job with creating a cosy budget nest hole in Granada city centre.
Fantastic location to this boutique hotel, easy walking distance to all the restaurants, bars and sights in Granada. A very good room size with small balcony to look out from. Exceptional look to the hotel itself, traditional Moorish build. Considering it is reasonably near a busy tourist area the sound proofing is amazing, didnt hear a thing!
The room was great for the price. I was actually surprised when I arrived to see how good it was. here is a video of the room and a commentary of my stay. I would stay here again. This hotel was a pleasant surprise at our trip around Spain. Nice and clean rooms, very good location in Granada city center, kind staff. At the same street is the public parking and hotel staff even ensured that the city authorities got notice of our cars entrance to the restricted area. Great job.
Staff, location, breakfast, secure, reasonable price. I felt so comfortable and satisfied. The sower was excellent.
I wish there would be this kind of low cost and high quality hotel here and there in the world. I could make a best choice to stay in Granada. thank you so much.
The hotel staff are very friendly, they also try their best to meet our requirements. The location is super, in the center of Granada, but very quiet street. Breakfast is fresh and offered with full range of variety. The on-site parking underground is very convenient.
The room was cosy and clean. Even though we live in Spain for years already, here we had the best ever toast for the breakfast. The meat slices were cut by the hotel staff from the bone directly before us, so as fresh as it can be. We had a great time.
Beautiful apartment in historical building just minutes to all the sites of Granada. Neighbourhood was extremely quiet and very safe. Owners and staff were delightful and suggestions for sites and restaurants brilliant. Best stay we had in Spain.
I did have a very nice stay in this boutique hotel in Granada: simple-designed but well-functional room is very clean, cosy and comfortable. The location of the hotel is perfect!!! I will for sure come back! highly recommend!
Beautiful hotel located in the heart of Granada! The rooms are fantastic and the garden spectacular. As it is a boutique hotel you can see how how important are the little details in every corner! I’ll came back!
We stayed in three different cities (and accommodations) in Spain. This one was our favorite! Nuria was a great host, we loved how stylish it was, and we could easily walk to all of our activities.
Great location. Great space. AC is hard to find and it was wonderful to have! The bed was comfortable. If you've lived in Spain before, it will be what you expect. Overall, great stay
Great Location, super friendly and responsive host, huge apartment, laundry in the kitchen. Cheapest and nicest place we stayed in in all of Spain. Excellent
